CHAPTER SIX

Juno POV

"You fucktards has a lot of explaining to do. You fucking scared me to hell!" I shouted at them with full frustration. They can just tell me that Denver arrived, wala namang mawawala tangina. And I can't believe that Vionne actually agreed in this stupid prank. "What? They just begged me to get along, I can't say no to Denver." Pag papaliwanag nito sakin. Napakuha tuloy ako ng tubig sa ref. Hindi ko kinaya 'tong nang-yari. Nakakahigh blood sila. "Pero aminin, ang galing ko talaga umarte diba?" Sabi ni Avionna na kina-inis ko pa lalo. I just showed her my middle finger as a respond.

"And you." Tingin ko kay Denver na ngayon ay enjoy na enjoy kakatawa sa sarili nilang kagaguhan. "When did you arrived?" I asked while finishing my drink. "A couple of hours ago, I called Aeos first and I was the one who told them to put a prank on you." Nakangisi nitong sabi sakin. This retard! "Tangina mo Torres sana 'di ka nalang umuwi, kingina mo ka." I'm so fucking furious. Wala akong pake kung kakarating lang niya. Naiinis parin ako sa putanginang prank na 'yan.

"Chill bestfriend! Tara nalang sa 75th Street. Sabi ni Aeos maganda raw doon." Inirapan ko lang ito at tumayo para suntukin ang braso niya. Hindi nag tagal ay umalis na rin kami at pumunta sa 75th Street. Buti nalang talaga at day off ko. I wanna have fun. And yeah, about Denver. He is one of our friend and the only male species in our group. 11 years old lang noong huli namin siyang nakasama. Bigla kasing nag migrate sa states ang parents niya and he needed to come with them, kaya ayon naiwan kaming apat.

We were once a part of a youth orchestra and noon sabay-sabay kami tumutugtog not until Denver and Aeos left. Our group disbanded and some of the members started college. Unlike Denver, Aeos returned back home and nag kita kami sa Baguio noon. That was so unexpected, 'ni-hindi ko nga narealize na siya na 'yon. I was there for scholarship and yeah we found each other again. And after a few months. We met the twins through a common friend and the sudden reunion came. Nabuo kami ulit but it is still not the same when we have Denver.

"I miss you all!" He happily said and hug each one of us. Andito kami ngayon sa family SUV niya. He wants us to bond kasi since he was gone for a long time. And I think this is also a good idea. Hindi malabo na mag set ito ng vacation. I know Denver so much. "So, what happened in your life in states, Ver." Aeos asked, and it caught our attention too. Humarap kami na parang mga bata kay Denver at iniintay siyang mag kwento. "A lot of shit happened." He started.

"-well hindi madali tumira sa states but I survived it. I graduated at Harvard with my Bachelor of Culinary Arts degree. And now, I'm here for my Masters in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management." Wow, so he's really gonna go for his culinary career, awesome. "Do you have a particular school in mind?" Sunod-sunod na tanong ni Aeos na akala mong imbestigador. "Yeah, Hampshire University. I just enrolled last month before I came home." Bakas sa mukha namin ang pag kagulat. "D'yan rin kami but different building. 

Me and Aeos is in Medical field and the twins are in the Law school. But yeah, I-isang campus lang." I explained. Malaki kasi ang Hampshire, para itong isang barangay sa laki niya. Kailangan mo pa mag jeep to be able to go to other buildings. Pero ang Law at Med school ay halos mag kapit bahay lang. Library lang ang pagitan ng department namin.
