CHAPTER SEVEN

Juno POV

Maaga akong pumasok ngayon. It's been a week since my last encounter with Cali. May biglaan kasing theater play ang Theater club dahil sa pag ka-postponed ng Intramurals at Battle of the bands. Napaka gulo ng school namin sa totoo lang. Inauguration kasi ng bagong principal kaya ito, need daw namin mag perform along with the Theater club members. At isa ako sa na-assign bilang pianist para sa play nila.

"Okay listen up!" Tawag samin ni Sir Miguel. Isa siya sa adviser ng Theater club. "This is a romantic story between Rhafa at Kristina.-" Nakinig naman kami sa pag e-explain ni Sir. Nag umpisa na rin siyang mag distribute ng mga roles. I feel like I'm in a high school musical dahil dito. Pag ka-tapos mag salita ni Sir Miguel ay may dumating na isa pang adviser, it' none other than Miss Bianca. Yep, kahapon ko lang ito nalaman. Gulat nga siya nung nakita ako. Hahahahaha. 

Napansin ko naman na sumama ang timpla ni Avianna nung sumulpot si Miss Bianca. "Juno here's the copy of the scripts, kung saan ka papasok and here are the list of songs na ip-play mo. And here." Miss Bianca paused first before she get the another sheets of paper sa briefcase niya. "Here are the musical notes para sa mga kanta." Namangha ang mga mata ko nung nakita ko ang mga nota. Thankfully, I have the ability to read notes kaya hindi na ako mahihirapan.

Nag simula na sila mag drill, Avianna got the lead role of Rhafa and si Akhira naman ang gaganap na Kristina. Yep! both girls because of the author is once in love with a woman according to Ma'am Bianca. Andito naman ako kasama si Neil. Siya ang katulong ko sa pag practice sa mga kanta. "After this line of Kristina, papasok ang soft melodic background music." Sinundan ko naman ang mga notes sa pag pressed ng piano keys. "Yes, perfect!" Hindi ko alam kung bakit ang club president ang tumutulong sakin. It supposed to be Calypso dahil siya ang musical adviser. Pero wala siya ngayon, missing in action. Tsk.

I guess that she has any knowledge in music naman? Nag isip pa ako.

I think so, after all she said last week that she once played a piano. 

Because my mind is occupied I suddenly hit a wrong key. Agad naman akong nag sorry kay Neil and he said it's fine. "Juno focus ka dito." Medyo masungit niyang sabi sakin. Well- Neil isn't that strict unlike our adviser na napaka perfectionist. I wonder where she is- fuck! Focus self! Focus! Sabi ko sa isip ko na lumilipad at dahil doon nag ka-mali ulit ako. Akmang papagalitan na ako ni Neil when a loud voices dominate the whole auditorium. 

"I don't want to do this!" Sigaw ni Avi na nakuha ang atensyon naming lahat. She is having an argument with Miss Auclair. Bossy kasi si Avianna. Hindi 'yan sanay ng inuutusan. "You have to!" Sigaw naman nung isa. Na-iintriga naman ako kung ano ba 'yung gagawin ni Avi at ayaw niyang sunduin. "Whoever made this script is insane. I'm not going to kneel! I will never kneel for someone not even for you!" Matapang na asik ni Avianna. I gasped when I heard that, kaya naman pala. Luluhod pala si gaga.
