Juno POV 

It's been a long ride. Buti naman at hindi gaanong ka-traffic dahil baka abutin kami ng hating gabi sa pag ka-stuck. "You own this?" Tanong sakin ni Cali. Kakarating lang kasi namin dito sa bahay namin ni Aeos sa Baguio. "Nah, samin ni Aeos noong nag take kami ng Bachelor's degree sa University of the Cordilleras." I guided her to her room. This is a two storey mansion near kisad road. "Let's just sleep in one room Juno. Ang laki-laki ng bahay na 'to. What if may katabi pala akong matulog mamaya? Tska aalis rin naman tayo bukas, kawawa naman 'yung mga taga-linis dito." Reklamo niyang tugon sakin. Sa totoo lang nahihiya akong makasama siya sa isang kwarto, like girl? Tao rin ako nakakaramdam ng kilig and weird feelings. 

"Um, okay. May sofa naman sa kwarto ko. I'll be there and you'll get the bed." I told her and thank God she didn't protest. Cali put her bag on the small table and removed her black coat. There she reveals her sexy porcelain skin with her black deep V sleeveless blouse. 

Fuck me.

Ibinigay ko naman agad sakanya ang dalawang bag na pinabili ko sa tauhan ni Aeos dito sa Baguio. I don't want to commit the same mistake I did before. I learned from it. It was just a simple white lace midi dress. I know wala siyang dalang damit dahil hindi naman kami dumaan sa unit niya. Since we are racing with time. I texted Aeos na to get us some clothes for our stay and put it on my tab. As if mang lilibre ang isang 'yon. Kasing kuripot ng tatay ko 'yon pag dating sa pera. 

Hindi ko na inintay na mag hubad si Cali sa harap ko. Alam ko namang gagawin niya. If I didn't see that coming panigurado matutuod ako doon sa gulat. That woman can take my breath away in a split second! Damn it! Agad akong pumunta sa walk in closet ko. I can't believe na andito parin ang iilang damit ko, as well as Aeos' clothes. Nakita ko rin 'yung old uniform ko sa UC. I suddenly feel nostalgic. 

I don;t want to keep Cali waiting so nag bihis na agad ako. I just choose a plain back button up, then tucked-in with my white slacks. I also put some belt on and grab my old white sperry loafers. I look like old money with this. "You're all set, shall we? I'm hungry Juno and you know that." I remembered Cali told me to have a pull over pero I told her na malapit na kami and I have a dinner reservation sa isang 4 star restaurant. 

"Grabe ang ganda talaga dito kapag gabi." I heard Cali whispered while admiring the night view of Baguio CIty. It's true. Ang maganda pa nga dito ay safe ka. Compare to Manila na hindi ka makakapag lakad ng hindi nag ooverthink na walang bigla-biglang mang g-gripo sayo sa eskinita. Though nakakapagod mag lakad dito pero makakasanayan naman. 

"So how's your life here before Juno?" That's a good starter for a conversation. Nahihiya rin kasi akong mag salita eh. "Uhm it was hard but Aeos was there for me so nakayanan ko naman." She smiled at me. "You're so lucky na hindi ka nag hirap during college says. Back in the US, it was a hell hole for me. But like you, I also have Krystal aiding me." Yeah, naalala ko 'yung na kwento niya sakin noon. We almost shared the same fate before.

"Nope. HIndi naging madali ang buhay ko. Aeos just helped me to invest my money in the market, kaya nag karoon ako ng source of income. I also started here, making some small gigs and yeah, a freelance song writer." Nagulat yata si Cali sa sinabi ko. "I didn't know that you write songs Aguirre. You have gifted hands." I nodded. "You know my old Maestro told me before that I got the world in the palm of my hands, because he believed in me, Cali. He believes in my talent." She hold my hand na kanina ay nakahawak sa gear lever. "I couldn't agree more."
