I'm so sorry for not updating but it's very busy at work at the moment so i probably won't update until monday evening or tuesday.

Lizzie PoV

I had filmed the whole moment between madeline and colin and i saw scarlett looking with the biggest smile on her face. Honestly i'm glad madeline is getting along with colin so well sincz her and scarlett had some trouble before i was scared she wouldn't get along with him but i was wrong.

When we walked home madeline changed and went on his back. Scarlett was walkkng next to them and the three of them were laughing and i was just in time to snap a photo. They look like a happy family and it puts a big smile on my face.

When we got home we went to change and when i was ready i went to madeline's room and waited on her bed. When i heard the bathroom door open i looked up from my phone and saw her comming out in shorts and a bra, her hair was in a towel but i noticed a big scar on her ribs and multiple smaller ones on her back. Most of the times when she wears crop tops her hair covers them all because it long enough, it stops just above her butt, but right now i can see it. I can't help but the small gasp that leaves my mouth and once madeline sees me she gets a scared expression on her face.

Madeline POV

I walk out the bathroom in shorts and a bra and suddenly i hear a smal gasp. I turn around and i see lizzie looking at ma, i instantly know what she's looking at. I walk in my closet fast and pull on a top. When i walk out i see lizzie lost in tought, i know she's going to want an explanation, and to be honest she's the only one i would tell but i'm not ready for that yet.

I sit next to her and she just looks at me for a whil before speaking up "what are all the scars from?" She asks quietly and i swallow hard. "They are from some things that happened in the past" i answer and she looks confused "look i know you want a better explanation as to where they come from but i'm not ready to tell anyone yet" i tell her and she nods understanding. She wraps me in a hug and whispers in my ear "i'll be there to talk whenever you're ready" and i nod aginst her shoulder.

We sat tgether for a while until we got called down for dinner and i walk downstairs with my hairbrush trying to get trough the knots in my long dirty blonde hair. I see scarlett standing with her hand outstreched and i give her my brush. She gently brushes trough it and to be honest i really enjoyed it. When she's ready i lean back into her front and she wraps her arms arpund me and kisses my head. I place my hands on top of hers and we enjoy eachothers embrace until we hear a snap from a picture. I open my eyes and see lizzie smiling at us and i flip her off while laughing.

After a nice dinner we get settled on the couch for a last movienight with jade and mason here. I sit next to jade and scarlett and i cuddle into her side. I don't really know why but i'm feeling clingy today. I just hope scarlett doesn't mind me being like this because i don't want to scare her away again.

Scarlett POV

Madeline was really clingy today and i love it. I get to hold me sweet girl knowing she actually wants me to hold her. My heart is gilled with joy and i sure as hell won't miss any opportunity to get some sweet girl cuddles. No matter how old she is i'll always want her cuddles, that's something i know for sure.

I was focusing on the movie that was playing until i felt a thug on my hand. I look down and see that madeline took my left hand and interwined our fingers, another small thing that made me overflow with happiness. She leaned into me a little more and smiled up at me.

The movie was almost done when i felt some weight on my shoulder. Madeline fell asleep on my shoulder. I waited for the movie to be over and nudged colin to take her upstairs before slowly trying to get my hand back.

The moment he lifted her she nuzzeld her face in his chest and i saw him looking down at her with so much love and care wich made my heart explode.

I went to kiss her goodnight but stopped in the doorframe and saw colin give her a kiss on her head. I went in and did the same before making my way to mine and colin's room. "I had fun today" i say while getting ready for bed and he humms "me to" he answers with a big smile. "I love how well you and mads are getting along" i tell him when he joins me in bed. "Yeah me to. It's actually the first time she's been this comfortable around me" he says and his smile grows five sizes. I give him a loving kiss and cuddle into him "goodnight baby. I love you" i numble before closing my eyes. I hear him say it back to me before i droft off to sleep.

A cute family moment.

Thz only question is will everything stay like this or will there be troubles in paradise once again?
