Today was THE day. The big wedding was happening and the house was honestly chaos. Whether it was a good one or a bad one i'll leave that up to you.

Madeline had woken up very early, unable to sleep and calm the nerves. Luckily Florence had stayed the night and was there to calm her down and cuddle. Otherwise she would've been out of bed at 4, running around the house double and triple checking if everything was packed and in the right spot, which it was because they had double and triple checked the night before.

By 9 o'clock Scarlett and her bridal party were at the venue setting up and waiting for the hair and make up artist to come by and get them ready. While Lizzie had stepped out to get something Madeline thought now was the right time to show her mama the promise ring.

"Hey Scarly, look what Florence gave me last night." she says while showing off the ring. Scarlett gasps because her mind immediatly went to an engagement. "She proposed?" Scarlett asks surprised but also kinda hurt. "No she didn't propose, it's to soon for that. This is a promise ring. The kind you can only buy once, and she bought it for me!" Madeline tells her, the excitement evident in her tone.

"That's really beautiful baba, you deserve it" Scarlett tells her and pulls her in for a hug. Deep down she was a little relieved they weren't engaged yet, they're still to young. And now she also knew her mommy gut was right, something was going to happen between them, just not right now.

Just then the door opened and Lizzie walked in with the staff the help them get ready and that's when the real chaos started. Brushes and pins we're lying everywhere, Madeline was pacing around every chance she got, Lizzie was stress laughing and Scarlett was dying inside. Amidst all the chaos in the room Madeline still took some pictures of them together as a keepsake to remember this moment forever.

The process of getting ready took a long while but it was totally worth it. All of them looked incredibly stunning, like they had just walked out of a magazine, and honestly if you saw them they could as well have.

The ceremony didn't start until another hour and a half so they had enough time for a part of the photo shoot already. The photographer was hired for the entire day so she already had some shots from the dressing room and now they went to a nice grass field outside the barn. At first she took some solo shots of Scarlett, Madeline and Lizzie and then she moved on th just the bridesmaids and then together.

While taking pictures Florence had arrived in her stunning pastel pink dress Madeline hadn't seen before. The moment Madeline laid eyes on her it was like time had stopped. Neither of them moved for a second, both their mouths slightly agape. When they snapped back to reality the distance was crossed in an instant. Florence lifted Madeline off the ground and spun her around. "You look amazing my love" she whispered in her ear and Madeline smiled. "You look stunning yourself angel" she whispers back and leans down to kiss her.

The moment was so beautiful that both Scarlett and Lizzie had slightly glossy eyes and the photographer couldn't help but capture it on camera.

This was obviously one of those things they would play at their own wedding.

And honestly after seeing this Scarlett was not so terrified of the idea of them getting married anymore, because their love is so pure that anyone could see it.

A little shorter chapter but also kinda cute.
