Scarlett POV

Madeline's reaction when she saw the puppy was the best thing ever. I'm glad she likes the party and the gifts and i'm almost sure she won't let baby blue alone for more than five minutes.
When she came back from the ride in her new car, wich i wasn't fond of by the way, she immediatly took baby blue back in her arms and cuddled with her. I din't think she's letting her go tonight and i don't blame her, i'm glad she's happy. That's all i ever want for my kids to be happy.

Florence POV

She was so happy with the simple thing i remembered her telling me and it warmed my heart. And than her face when she saw the car was priceless, i love seeing her happy and i will do anything to keep het that way. Suddenly lizzie pulled me aside with this look on her face that i din't recognize. "So what's going on between you and madeline?" She asks with a smirk "what do you mean there's nothing going on between us" i answer and she just laughs " i'm serious there's nothing going on between us. I don't even know where you got that idea" i tell her "oh come on flo i'm sure everyone can see the way you look at her and care for her. It's so obvious you like her." She says and i start to panic "shit am i that obvious?" I ask and she nods "do you think scarlett knows. I mean i don't think she would like me dating her daughter." I ramble and lizzie starts laughing again. "Look i ron't know if svarlett knows or not but if she would want someone dating one of her childeren i think she'd rather have you than someone she doesn't know" she says and i calm down a little bit.

We talked for a while and even scarlett joined us. I start thinking and i haven't seen madeline since she left with robert. I look around and see robert across the room but madeline is nowhere to be seen. "Hey has one of you seen madeline?" I ask and they shake their heads. I walk away amd go looking for her, she's not in the living, the kitchen, bathroom or upstairs. The only place i have left is outside amd when i walk to the backyard the sight i see forms a smile on my face. She's running around with baby blue. "Mind if i join you two?" I ask and she smiles and comes over. "I almost haven't seen you all night" i say and she smiles at me "should've looked a bit better pugh" she teases and walks to the tree and sits under it. I walk over and i sit nect to her, our bodies touching and i feel her shiver at the contact. "So did you enjoy the surprise" i ask her and she nods "it was perfect, the only thing i didn't like that much was the blindfold but it was worth it" she answers with a smile. She laus her head on my shoulder and just watches blue with a smile on her face while i admire her with a smile on my face. After a moment of silence she lifts her head and looks at me "thanks for coming and for the gift. You're amazing" she says quiet and a smile forms on my lips. "You're welcome darling" i say in a low voice and as a smile makes his way on her lips i can't help but look at them. When i see a smirk forming i look back up to her ryes and see her gaze flicker between my lips and my eyes and mine do the same. I subcontiously start leaning in and so does she. Just before our lips touch jackson screams for madeline and both of us jump back with red faces. "Madeline everyone is leaving and we're going home!" He yells and both of us get up. "I'm sorry but i have to go. Thanks again for the gift amd just for being here. See you soon love" she says and gives me a kiss on my cheeck amd takes baby blue woth her leaving me blushing and flistered. Oh my god we almost kissed?!

I went home with the biggest smile on my face. Nothing could ruin this night.
