Today we were all invited to a big thing at robert's house. It's mid november so it's starting to get colder around this time of the year. It's also not so long until scarlett's birthday and i have a big surprise planned for her. I talked to Colin about it and he said it was okay that i take her for her birthday that he'll take her on a date the next day. It came out perfectly scince rose is with her dad and jackson is appearantly never home anymore, so it'll be just us.
Right now we are getting ready to go to roberts, and with we i mean the four of us, dad and alycia, and me and florence. Dad told his closest friends about her and they all reacted so well and are excited to meet her. Florence and i were matching, both of us wearing baggy ripped jeans and matching nike sweatshirts and a hat.

Lucky for me the hickies on my stomach were almost invisible by now and the new ones on my neck and colarbones were covered by either my hair, make up or my sweatshirt. Ofcourse florence had lots of hickies if her own to cover a bit, i mean it's only fair if i return the favor of giving her hickies.
When we got to roberts we saw that we were the first ones to arrive, appearantly he has invited most of the marvel cast and i'm internally freaking out. I know that i'm related to two of them and my godparents are in there but still.
Slowly but surely the place started filling up with people but the one i was waiting for wasn't there yet. And as i was talking with sebastian and mackie i heard her voice. She was standing with the rest of the girls.
I quickly ran up to her and wrapped my arms around her from behind "i didn't know you were already here mama liz" i say and she chuckles "well monkey you were to busy joking around with your new boytoys to notice me" she jokes and i act offended "i could never be to busy to notice you" i say and she smiles " i know baby now come here i missed you" she says before wrapping her arms back around me. After that we fell into a conversation of our own.
Scarlett POV
When i arrived at roberts house madeline was already there with chris, alycia and florence. She greeted me wizeth a big hug and told me she was happy to see me. When seb and mackie arrived they stole her away from me and started joking around. Not long after brie joined us and then lizzie came.
I was surprised madeline didn't notice when she got here but me surprise was turned to jealousy the moment she called her mama liz. I couldn't help it because all i get is scarly and lizzie gets mama, how did that happen.
I couldn't help but glance over at them every other minute, and as i saw them talking so easy and happily the jealousy i tried to surpress came above. But before i did something stupid i remembered the chat we had a while ago and kept reminding myself of that.
During dinner the four of them sat together and lizzie and robbie sat besides them, they looked so comfortable in their own little bubble, just like a small family. Then chris said something that made madeline blush and hide her face in florence's neck. Alycia gave him a slap on the shoulder while they started laughing. I wondered what they were talking about but seeing madeline laugh made me smile.
As if she could feel my eyes on her she lookes at me and smiled. We held eye contact until she was called by chris for a picture of her and florence. They looked at eachother lovingly for the pic and then lizzie said something making them laugh and kiss eachother. I stared at them wishing i was spending the moment with them instead of at the other end of the table and as if madeline heard my thoughts she called me and colin over.
One photo of florence and madeline ended up in a full photoshoot of all of us. It felt really good being all together and having a good time like this.
We spent the rest of the night talking and joking around with eachother. Madeline ends up cuddling with alycia on the couch while she was doing her hair. They were having a scilent chat about god knows what and the feeling i've been repressing the whole evening was there once again.
As i watched them i realised that could've been me if i hadn't fucked up so many times. She could've been calling me mama, asking me to do her hair and she could've been whispering with me about god knows what.
