The ceremony was absolutely beautidull.
Scarlett lokkes stunning in her dress, Colin cried a little both when he saw Scarlett and Madeline walk down the isle.

Matka also teared up when sha saw both of them.

Madeline was smiling from ear to ear when she saw her mama walking down the isle, looking better than she had imagined her in that dress.

A big bouqet of very nice flowers in her hands.

When she reaces the front Madeline stepped forward and took them from her hands bit not without giving her hand a gentle squeeze. They shared the most genuine smile and the rest passed in a blur.

After the ceremony there was some time for the rest of the photo's and while madeline was in the first few shots she left shortly adter to prepare.

Even tho she still had enough time, because the reception still had to start, she couldn't help but start getting nervous for the surprise. This had to go right.

So she was near the stage pacing from left to right, repeating the lyrics in her head, perfectkng every note mentally so she would know what to de when she had to perform.

The reception was absolutely perfect. Everyone but Madeline had given their speech and now was her time. Right when dessert was finished she walked up to the stage holding the mic, internally duing but refusing to show it.

"Okay i would like all of your attention for this part as it's kinda important" she starts nervously chuckling as everyone turns to look at her.

She finds Florence who gives her a reassuring nod and it gives her the courage she needs.

"Today we're here together to celebrate the love between two people. Not just anyone but my mama and my now stepdad."

"Although things haven't always been easygoing for Scarlett and i, i'm very happy that we got to where we are today. Through the little time we've been in eachothers lives we've laughed, fought and cried a lot together, and i'm happy that we came out stronger. So thank you mama for always being patient with me, always showing me that you believe in me, for always being proud of me and for loving me. Those are your very best qualities and i have seen it many times before, the way you love your kids is also the way you love Colin."

"And Colin, thankyou for being so great to me even when you didn't have to be. You've always been there for me even when mom and i we're fighting and not speaking. You just showing up and keeping contact there showed me that you're an amazing man and also a great match for mom."

"The way you two love each other and you love us is so special that i wanted to give you something special in return. It took me a while but i figured it out in the way i know best. May i olease ask all of ypu to welcome the newlyweds to the dancefmoor for their first dance to a song i wrote for them?" She finishes and as she reveals the surprise she catches Scarletts eye.

The surprise was evident on both their faces alongside pure joy. This was possibly the best gift they could recieve, a song wriiten for their love.

Madeline exhaled one last time as she settled behind the paino and then pressed the first note.

As she played and sang the song a screen above the stage shiwed all the memories she had used as inspiration. From the video's of date night to some trips and board games they played it was perfect.

When she finished playing she turned to look at Scarlett and Colin and both of them had tezry eyes.

This was a moment they'd never forget.
