Chapter 9

I woke up feeling great. Then images of last night came rushing in. Along with the shame and pain.

"Oh Goddess." I shrieked and Rachel came over.

"Please don't tell my parents. They'll have him killed and I didn't even say no," I sobbed. "What's wrong with me?"

"Nothing Joyana. You may have kept your mouth shut, but you mindlinked Alpha Viktor, of all people," she said. " You were screaming no and stop in his head. He wasn't sure where you were so he kicked everyone out. Then you mindlinked everyone. By that I mean everyone left at the party. I thought I saw you go upstairs so I got here first."

"I'm so embarrassed. I can't believe this happened," I said, covering my face with my hands.

"You have nothing to be embarrassed about. He's the asshole who got you drunk so he could take advantage of you," she said. "Alpha Viktor is livid. I thought Simon was going to kill him. They threw him in a cell while they figured out what to do with him."

"Please tell me Alpha Viktor didn't involve my parents," I said.

"You'd have to talk to him about that," Rachel said.

I jumped out of bed and ran to the door. I had to know what happened. I went down to his office and knocked on the door. "Come in," he called.

I opened the door and rushed in. "Did you tell my parents?" It was only after I realized his parents were in the room.

"Perhaps we should give you two some privacy," Luna Starla said, getting up from the couch.

"Leave the door open please," I requested.

"Joyana, you're safe with me," Viktor said.

"I know. I just want to... What did you call me?" I asked. shocked.

"When I called your parents last night, your father told me who you are. He also said you should decide what happens to that monster," he said.

"He what?" I asked. "He wants me to do what?"

I flopped down on the couch exhausted. How can this be happening? Yesterday was supposed to be one of the best days of my life. I finally got my wolf.

You did Joyana. And I am here for you.

I started crying again feeling so embarrassed doing it in front of Alpha Viktor. He came over and sat across from me on the coffee table.

"Is it alright if I touch you?" He asked.

I nodded my head. He put his hand on my back and began rubbing large circles. I felt tingles all the way to my toes. He sat next to me and began rocking me. It felt so good I soon fell asleep.

I woke up on his couch alone. The door was closed and the office was empty. There was a sandwich sitting on the coffee table with a bottle of water. I began eating. Viktor came back into the office.

"Feeling better?" He asked. I nodded.

"When you're done eating we can finish our conversation," he said, moving towards his desk and sitting down.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"It's two o'clock," he replied.

I heard him shuffling papers. When I was done eating I went to sit in a chair across from him.

"So what did you tell my father?" I asked, looking at my hands.

"I told him what happened," he said, simply.
