Chapter 65

It was now time for me to take the throne. My coronation was in three days. Viktor and I were packing for the move back to the Palace. Liam would be taking over the Alpha duties until Ezra was old enough. Everything was moving along smoothly.

Bobby and Camille were returning to his pack in California. Gabriella decided to come back home since we were returning too. Jacob and Kiyoshi we're staying at Shadow Moon along with Elena and Andre. Isaiah officially became my bodyguard so they will go where I go.

Ian and Isabel decided to move to the Blue Moon pack with Amara and Amari. They were thriving in their position. They had a two year old son named Xavier.

"Viktor, there's something I want to know," I said.

"What is that, my love?" He asked.

"How many children did that book say we would have?" I asked.

He laughed before asking, "do you really want to know?"

"Of course I want to know," I said. "I just asked you."

"That book said we are having seven children,"

"Is that all? So even more than you're six?"

"Even more than my six," he said.

"Do you really want to have seven children?" I asked.

"I'd have any number of children with you," he said.

"I guess if we spread them out," I said.

"Well then, you're not going to be happy," he said, pulling a face.

"No. I can't be," I said, devastated.

I did not want to be starting out as a pregnant Queen. That could come later. For the first few years I didn't want hormones to get in the way. I already had to deal with being in heat.

"I'm just kidding with you," he said.

"That is not funny. Don't ever joke about that again," I said, swatting at him.

"I thought it was highly amusing. You should have seen the look on your face," he said.

Addison came waddling into the room drinking her juice bottle.

"I'm hungry Mommy," she said. "Get me some food."

I could feel her little command on me. It was pretty strong especially for a three year old. We would all be in trouble when she grew up. Now her requests were simple.

Hannah came through the door too. She was twirling her hair and sucking her thumb.

"Hannah, get that finger out of your mouth or I will put pepper sauce on it," I said.

"That's harsh," Viktor said.

"She has to stop sucking her thumb,"

She pulled her thumb out of her mouth with a pop. She looked at me with her gray eyes, her father's eyes, and said, " Addy is hungry and so am I."

Ezra popped his head in. He looked at everyone and said, "I can make sure they eat. I'll go tell the omega to make us sandwiches,"

"Where is Annabel?"

"On vacation. Remember?" He asked. " She just married Aunt Sheila."

"Of course I remember. Come on kids. We'll join you for lunch," I said.

We all had simple ham and cheese sandwiches with a side of chips. Viktor ate three. I had two. Each kid had one.

"When we get to the Palace, getting food doesn't work quite the same way. There's a daily menu and you can choose what you want from it," I told them.

"So I can just say ham and cheese?" Ezra asked.

"They keep sandwiches in a refrigerated case but who wants that? They make special hot sandwiches. There are quite a few options but there's no talking to the omegas. That's unorthodox," I said.

"That's weird Mommy. I like talking to the omegas," Ezra said.

"There's going to be a lot of changes. Life at the palace is very different from life in a pack. You guys are all princes and princesses. That comes with certain responsibilities," I said. "But don't worry Daddy, Annabel and Aunt Sheila will all be learning with you. You'll never alone and I will always help you.

"But Mommy, that sounds like a lot of work," Ezra said.

"It is and you will do it," I said. "And you have added duties, but I know you're up for the challenge."

Mommy I don't want to go," said Hannah. "I like it here. Please can I stay here and you go," Hannah said.

"You'd really want to be living across the country for Mommy, Daddy, Ezra and Addy? Don't forget Annabel's coming too," I said.

"No. You leave Annabel with me. She likes me the best. She calls me her sweet little girl," Hannah said.

"Don't worry. We'll be visiting every summer as Ezra has to learn how to be an Alpha. His training starts soon," I said.

"Think fast, your pack member is caught stealing bread. What do you do?" Viktor asked.

"Buy him some food and tell him to come to me next time," Ezra said.

"Why?" Viktor asked.

"Because I saw in your head that's what you would do," Ezra said.

I laughed so hard. He was going to be a hard one. I looked at my husband pleased with how life was going. He kissed me and everything felt right in the world.
