The next morning I woke up with Viktor shaking me.

I got you the pill and here's a bottle of water to take it," he said.

"Thank you," I said. "I could have gotten it myself."

"I got up early so I figured I'd just better take care of it," he said.

I took a shower, got dressed then took the pill. I went downstairs to breakfast to see Viktor's sister was there with her sons, but his parents were not. Lucas, Gabriella and Sofia were there along with Warren, Samantha, Alec and Kristen, who was in my seat.

I went over to Kristen and told her, "this is my usual seat. I will sit next to Alec for breakfast, but from now on, this is where I sit."

I was served pancakes and sausages.

"Did everybody have a good night?" Gabriella asked.

"I know a couple people who did." Sofia said, giggling.

"Very funny," I said. "Move on."

"In all seriousness, we're here for two more days Viktor," Sheila said "Could you keep your bedroom antics down? I have two small children."

"How do you guys hear so much?" I asked.

"We're werewolves," Lucas said. "And I'd give it an eight out of ten. You guys were skimpy on the foreplay."

"Anyway, I thought we could spend the day together, Joyana," Sheila said. "Just you and me. Viktor can take care of my boys. Can't you Viktor?"

"I can do that," he said. "What do you have planned?"

"I figured we'd get her hair and nails done," she said. "Maybe pedicures."

"That sounds like a plan," I said. "But at least Samantha will have to join us."

"I want to go too," Gabriella said.

"Me too," chimed in Sofia.

"Can't we have a girls' day?" Gabriella asked.

"I would advise that," Alec said. " But we need to protect the princess."

"Okay. A girls' day out it is," Sheila said.

I was secretly glad others were going. I didn't look forward to being interrogated by Sheila again. Let alone the threats.

My sister threatened you?

A little bit.

What did she say?

She would ruin me if I broke your heart. Wait a minute. Get out of my head.

Suit yourself.

I did not feel the mindlink close.

That's because I didn't close it.

After breakfast Sheila drove us to a hair salon. Kristen declined to join us.

"I desperately need a cut," Sheila said. "Then I can donate all of this mess."

"What style are you thinking about?" I asked

"I'm aiming for a lob," she said. "A long bob, you?

"I'm going for a chin length bob," I said.

"What about you ladies back there?" Sheila asked. "Are any of you getting haircuts?"

"I'm here to get my nails done. It's been an eternity," Gabriella said.
