Author's note: The picture is of the cells
The death of Helena marked a whole new era. For the first time I had killed somebody out of anger. How could I have let myself get that angry? Sure, she was a devious bitch and she was trying to convince my husband that he was part of her dark side. Him believing it just sent me over the edge. She was too dangerous to live.
I hugged my Hannah to me and took a deep breath. She didn't have her scent yet. It was faint but the smell of the baby is enough to calm me down. I walked back upstairs without looking at anybody. I sat down and continued to eat my meal.
"So what happened down there," Ian asked.
"She's dead," I said.
"What do you mean she's dead? Did we get information from her?" Elena asked.
"Yes we got every every bit of information she could offer and then I killed her," I said.
"You what?" Elena asked.
"I killed her. She was too dangerous. I cannot know now if she was coaxing Viktor or if he really believed her bullshit but it was lies," I said.
"Why didn't you ask him? You know you can feel when she's coaxing you," Amari said
"I don't want to talk about this anymore," I said.
"Well we better be quiet before you kill us too," Amari said.
"That is not funny,'' Amara said.
"It wasn't a joke," Amari said.
"Joyana would never kill us. We're part of her team," Amara said.
"So was Helena up until today," Kiyoshi said.
"No. Helena was never on our side," I said. "She was always the enemy and you got to realize that this is war. We may need to take more lives. Hopefully it's not anyone in this house."
Everyone started looking at each other with suspicion.
"Enough of this," Viktor said. "Joyana did what needed to be done."
"I'm going to put the kids to bed. Tell them what she divulged please?" I asked Viktor.
That night I was visited by the Moon Goddess. She congratulated me on being able to find the enemy within. She praised me for destroying her. She hadn't known if I would have the heart to do it. She wouldn't answer me when I asked about the Moon God. She wouldn't answer me when I asked about her mate. All she would say is that we were on course.
I woke up in a cold sweat. Viktor is lying peacefully beside me. I decided to get up and feed Hannah. Do I have to worry about Hannah? Is somebody really going to take her from me? I should have asked the Moon Goddess. What was I thinking?
It would seem we have taken out two of our enemies. Do they have the same numbers as us? How many more were there left to go? What was the Moon Goddess thinking? How is this teaching us anything? What are we learning? Are these Powers new or have they been used beforehand? How am I going to answer these questions?
We had to find the Oracle for Viktor. He deserves to be able to hear from the Moon Goddess and not feel like he's part of the dark side. But isn't there a balance between light and dark? Should we really be killing them? I don't know. It's also confusing yet the Moon Goddess congratulated me for killing Helena. That must mean we must take them out, right?
When two thirty rolled around and I was still awake, I decided to wake Viktor up.
What's wrong, love?
I can't sleep. Would you help me.
Alright. Hop on pop.
I kissed him first as he ran his hands up and down my body. I took off my panties then climbed on top. I rode him like my life depended on it. I cried out as I orgasmed. He rolled us over and took control, fucking me with long, deep strokes. I felt the fire in my belly again.
