  When Mia got to Emily's, immediately she warned Bella about her scar. "Don't stare, okay?" she begged and Bella frowned in confusion as she watched her sister get out of the truck.

  Following after the boys and Mia walked into the home, with Bella trailing behind. "Hey Em" Mia greeted as she made her way to the tall brunette who was mixing from what it looked like muffin mix. "Hey, I'm so happy you're doing better" she smiled at her which Mia returned one back.

   "You guys hungry?" she called from behind her as Mia made her way to sit next to Jared, motioning for her sister to take a seat alongside her. Bella hesitated at first, but followed Mia's directions.

  "We're always hungry" Jared smirked, throwing a teasing elbow into Mia's ribs. To which the girl hissed in pain and glared at the insolent boy. Pushing him, Jared fell out of his seat. "Sorry" he smiled cheekily as he climbed back up into his seat.

  Frowning , Mia expected retaliation but when her eyes met Embry's she immediately understood, "Jake told us" he confirmed to which Mia sighed in disappointment.

  When Emily turned around she was taken back at the familiar girl who stood in her home. But she quickly greeted her- "You must be Bella, the vampire girl" Mia could see in the corner of her eye, Bella tensed at the mention of vampire. Or perhaps it was Emily's scar that was engraved in the right side of her face.

  "That's me" she finally said, and Mia let out a breath of relief she didn't know she was holding.

  "And your the wolf girl" Emily chuckled and nodded in response. "An engaged one at that" she sadder on.

  "That's the last time I'll use a blender without a lid" she heard a familiar voice as they made their way down the stairs.

  Freezing her in tracks Ara stood there in shock at the sight of Bella. "Oh hey Bella" she stammered as she rubbed her arms nervously.

  "Don't worry she knows" Mia called behind her to which she already knew Ara frowned in confusion. Mia can feel her best friend's presence behind her as the girl leaned down to whisper in her ear.

  "Tell me later?" Mia nodded in response.

  "Leave it to Jacob to find a way around Sam's gag order" Emily muttered as she turned back to finishing her muffins. But not before she place a brand new batch in front of the teens. "Save some for your brothers" she scolded as Jared and Embry immediately went to dig in but stopped when Emily caught their wrists in her hands.

  Letting go she chuckled at their pouting reactions as she continued, "And for christs sake, ladies first" Mia smiled teasingly as the boys huffed and slouched in their seats.
Reaching forward she grabbed two muffins, one for her sister and Ara and finally she grabbed one more for herself.

  "He didn't say anything to me, I sort of figured it out on my own" Bella assured to which the boys ignored her as they spoke.

  "That's a wolf thing, alpha's order got to be obeyed whether we want to or not" Mia's eyes went wide as she kicked Embry underneath the table.

  Hissing Embry clutched his shin in pain while he glared at his best friends' imprint. "Oh and check this out, we can hear each other's thoughts!" In response, Ara smacked Embry on the back of the head.
