Mia had managed to have to time of her life in the span of three days. It was Friday, and the gang went out to the beach for some fun. They spent all day out in the sun when Leah announced she was tired and the others agreed. They headed back home, Seth and Leah headed upstairs to nap, while Ara and Embry went and laid on the hammock Jacob had put up for Eleanor on Wednesday. "Can I borrow your laptop? I need to check in on my dad and make sure he's doing alright?" Jacob asked as he and Mia walked hand in hand through front gate.

"Sure, I left it in the kitchen, I'm just gonna head up and shower." She smiled. Jacob and Mia have been in a utter bliss since the night they went to the club. Though the two haven't had sex in awhile they both managed to do other stuff when no one was looking. Like the other day, while the gang watched a movie, Mia was laying underneath a blanket, and while it would seem out of the ordinary for Jacob to share that blanket, he kept part of it sprawled on his left thigh as he fingered Mia with her friends around-oblivious to what was going on besides them.

Mia headed upstairs, ready to wash away any remaining sand that was on her body. When she got to her room-immediately she wanted to take of her bathing suit. It was a struggle to peel off her wet bathing suit, but she let out a sigh of relief when the fabric was removed from her body and spat straight onto the floor. She picked it up, heading for the bathroom to start the shower and hang out the suit on the towel rack to dry. Mia proceeded to the shower, opening the door the switch on the water. She went back into the main part of the bedroom only once to get her clothes and a towel. When the water was warm enough she stepped in and continued to wash her self up.

Mia was running out the conditioner in her hair when she felt like she forgot something. She stood there for a few extra minutes under the water as she tried to think what was it. That's when it hit her, and then she went pale.

The email.

She didn't exit out of the email when she was last on her laptop, which only meant one thing. She got out of the shower, drying off her body and then got dressed as fast as she could. When she rushed out of the bedroom, she halted in her steps when she found Jacob sitting on the bed, his head hanging low as he held a piece of paper in his hands-he must of printed it out. "When we're you gonna tell me." He stated, voice firm like a rock as he moved his head so his eyes can meet her own. Mia stood there, mouth gaping in shock as her wet hair dampened her pink tank top causing it to stick to her back.

  "Jake-"

"Don't-don't you dare lie to me." He warned his hand pointing at her knowingly.

"I wasn't, I can explain that," Jacob stood up quickly, striding over to Mia to hand her the paper. "I'm all ears," he sneered shoveling the paper into her hands as he turned away from her. His anger was rising and he didn't think it would be wise to be looking at her at that moment. Not after what happened last time.

"I didn't mean to hide it..I just forgot about it."

"How can you forget something like this?" He muttered.

"Jacob we've been having the best week of our lives. Longer than any time we've had together and I didn't want to ruin it because of where I decided to go to school."

Jacob didn't say anything as he took deep breathes. "This has always been my plan, to go to school."

"You think I don't know that Mia?" He scoffed turning around with annoyance and no longer anger but frustration on his face. "I'm not the type to hold you back from your dreams."

Mias eyes softened, perhaps she should bed told him from the beginning. "I just, didn't think it would be this far away." He sighed, his hands rubbing over his face.

"Jake, this is one of the best art schools, and they are offering me a full ride.." she explained, waving the paper like as if this was the golden ticket. Silence flooded them, until Jacob licked his lips in thought. "It seems every time we find our way back to each other something is always trying to keep us apart." Mia felt her heart ache, deep down there was a reason why she forced the email in the back of her mind. She would be forced to go through this.

Jacob was starting down at his feet when Mia closed the distance between the two, cupping his face in her hands to make him look at her. "You can come with me." She whispered. Surprising the both of them.

"Mia." He hesitated but Mia stopped whatever sentence was left before he could finish it. "It's not a bad idea. It would be easier for the both of us if you came with me to  California." And truthfully it wasn't. Jacob loved the idea, so much he almost agreed. Almost.

There's sadness in his eyes as he said, "No."

"What?" Mia gasped.

"If this is what you wanted, then I'll support you."

"Jake-"

"We can get through this because it us. With my dad..I can't leave him. You can visit during breaks, I'll try to visit you there. We can do this." He assured, pulling her hands off his face and held them in his hands.

Mia smiled, standing to her tippy toes to kiss him softly. The kiss was short, "I should go shower." He said, eyes clouded with an emotion she couldn't read. He let go of Mia, walking around her to head to the shower. Mia knew they could do this, that the will be fine. But doubt lingered in her mind.

Especially since Jacob didn't kiss her back.
