Jacob Black huffed as he held his keys in his hand, throwing his front door shut behind him. It had been a long day- he had a pack meeting earlier that morning to discuss patrol shifts, and let's just say somehow he got roped into patrol three nights in a row. It's been a full week since he left Mexico, since he and Mia parted ways. And it's been hell. Although he felt stressed not being near his imprint-his wolf however has been odly quite.
Though he wasn't complaining since it would've only added more to his stress. He missed her-alot. And the more he thought about it the more he questioned if he can survive the whole semester without her. It was safe to say that was a no and first chance he gets he's taking a flight out to California to see her.
As Jacob entered fully in his home, he felt the hairs on his neck stand up and his wolf rattle agaisnt it's chains. "Jacob," Billy smiled, using his wheelchair to bring him closer to his son as he noticed his presence. Jacob's eyes averted from Billy Black-spotting Charlie Swan sititng on the their couch.
"What's going?" Immediately he thought of Mia. Was she okay? I need to leave right now. His mind swirled around her as he tried to calm his wolf from freaking out. "Mia called." Billy whispered just as Charlie stood up from the couch, huffing to himself as he held his cell in his hand. Jacob watched him carefully as his nerves are eating away at him.
"Everything alright Charlie?" He asked. He knew the mintue Charlie said nothing was alright-he was out that door and running nonstop to California. "Yeah," he sighed, sticking his cell back into his pocket. "She was just letting me know that she might be unreachable while she prepares for the start of her first week." Jacob could sense there was something else. "But," he contiued, Jacob could feel his heart pounding as he waited to Charlie to finish what he said.
"I don't know I could be imagining things."
"What is it?" Jacob pressed.
"I thought I heard Bella in the background," he muttered. That didn't sound right at all, Bella is on her honeymoon-in Brazil.
"Crazy right? Bella called me yesterday to let me know that they are extending their honeymoon." Something wasn't adding up, and the imprint bond began to pull- for he knew something was wrong.
"Alright enough talk, let's eat." Sue announced. She and Charlie had been spending more time together lately-but that was another story. Jacob needed answers. And he knew just where to get him. He didn't pay no mind to his dad as he sauntered out. Not realizing Charlie noticed the look in his eyes before he left. Like he knew something he didn't.

Jacob was at the Cullen residence in under an hour. His need to know what the hell was going had him worried some how his imprint was involved in this. As he neared the front door he'd seen Carlisle pull it open-almost as if he knew he was coming.
