22nd October: Budapest

Listening to Nia sing Budapest by George Ezra over and over again was enough to turn anyone insane. Andrea was positive the guitarist would forget the setlist for tonight and just carry on singing that song. She was also convinced that was the only reason Ashton had his headphones on.

Calum didn't look too good, he'd been acting strangely for a few days. When they went out the other night he barely said a word and she was worried about him as this wasn't his usual behaviour. Maybe Andrea was overthinking it, but he's definitely been quieter than usual.

Andrea tried not to worry over Calum's actions, but it was impossible not to. Instead, she tried to take her mind off it by looking through photos she took the other day. Most of them were of Calum and Ashton messing around she also got a video of Luke scaring Michael. Andrea wanted to post something on Instagram as she hadn't since the UK and Ireland leg ended, but she decided to wait till later when she could ask the guys if they wanted photos of them online.

In her bag, Andrea decided to pick up her book and start reading. There were another forty minutes left to get to the venue and she got bored of scrolling through her phone. Calum and Ashton weren't any good at keeping her company either, useless arseholes.

Calum felt sick. Whoever tried to harm Andrea wanted a serious talking to as how could anyone want to hurt her? Right now, she looked content in her usual corner of the sofa reading a book. Calum was always so surprised at how easily Andrea could melt into a story. Her mind switched off and she became a spectator of the fictional world she was reading about.

Thinking back to the other day, Calum was still trying to work out who held Andrea at knifepoint. He remembered back in Düsseldorf when she said that her secrets were more fucked up than the rest. Was this the secret she was referring to? Calum didn't necessarily think it was fucked up, well it was but Calum highly doubted it wasn't her fault it was fucked up.

His mind then wondered to her brother, Andrea didn't say much when Calum asked about it so was it him? What kind of brother would do that? He as a brother would never do that and he knew his sister felt the exact same.

Whilst she was reading, she felt a pair of eyes stare at her. Andrea looked up to find Calum's eyes on her, he looked like he was deep in thought so she didn't think twice about a set of curious eyes. "You ok?" this was like the tenth time she had asked him this.

Calum looked around dazed finally snapping out of his thoughts, "sorry, what?"

At his response, Andrea rose an eyebrow, "I asked if you were ok."

"Just thinking," he knew he could finish that sentence, but decided against it, "same old band stuff you know."

Before Andrea could respond, she heard Arthur shout, "Nia, I swear to god if you play another chord of that song I'll smash that bloody guitar over your head! I bet you I could reenact the whole fucking music video now. All I can hear is that song, so do everyone a favour and shut the hell up!"

"We're in Budapest!" she exclaimed, "what do you expect me to do!"

"It was alright the first time," Everly's voice joined the mix, "but now it's kinda gotten boring."

"I hate you all."

Once everyone was inside the arena, they made their way to the green room to have lunch. Michael was trying to sort out his guitar strings as one of them wouldn't stay in tune.

"Why don't you have a spare string?" Luke asked him.

"Why don't you have a spare string," Luke rolled his eyes at Michael's question.
