5th February: Los Angeles

It was hard to get back into the touring mindset but after the first few shows, Andrea was already loving it. She did miss the morning when she and Calum would lie in bed until late morning talking about pointless things. In general, she missed Calum, he was either pushed off to rehearsal or interviews during the day and at night both of them were exhausted meaning they had no energy to meet up at night. No one besides Ashton knew about them and it was hard keeping it a secret especially when all Andrea wanted to do was hold him for most of the day.

After Calum's birthday, Calum hadn't taken the necklace off. Since then a lot of fans had noticed it and had complimented him on how nice it was. Andrea just sat there and smiled at the fact that fans were asking him where he got it from, not noticing the Cows In Space logo on the front. Of course, Andrea's bandmates noticed and Nia had accused her of favouring Calum over them, in a joking way of course. Some people online had noticed the back of it and pointed out it was Andrea's initials, but luckily nothing came of it.

It was still early days in their relationship and Calum was a private person in general so there was no point in trying to hint about their relationship to the media or tell anyone. Andrea was still very wary of the internet and how people twisted things. She also looked at how people treated Max and Becca just because they were dating someone out of 5 Seconds Of Summer. Max often got targeted on a daily basis just because of their gender and said that Ashton wants to be with a real woman. Of course, these people didn't know their relationship at all and how beautiful it was. Max was very good at ignoring all of this, they had all of their social media on private and blocked any accounts that spoke badly about them.

Andrea was admittedly worried about sharing her relationship with the world especially because everyone was so quick to judge. Not to mention she was constantly checking through all her past tweets to make sure none of them came off bad. Becca tweeted something when she was seventeen and people hate her because of that one tweet she made seven years ago. Andrea didn't see how the tweet was considered problematic, but again Becca wasn't worried. She said people look for an excuse to not like you because you are dating their favourite. The internet could be a great thing for artists, but also bad.

Because they were at their second show in LA, Becca and Max had decided to come with them. It was currently around nine am and Michael and Calum were downstairs eating breakfast. Andrea was sharing with Arthur and he was freaking out about their new photographer Ivy who he said he didn't like but Andrea knew better. Although she was confused because last Andrea checked, Arthur still liked Everly.

When they joined the boys downstairs, it was quiet and luckily the people who recognised them didn't disturb them which was nice. Andrea sat down next to Calum and they shared a small smile, whilst Arthur and Michael fell into easy conversation.

"Where are the others?" she asked Calum.

"Luke and Becca are still asleep and Max and Ashton left early this morning," Calum shrugged, "I feel like they're planning their wedding behind our backs."

"Let's be real here Cal," Michael began, "Ashton can not keep a secret so if he was planning his wedding behind our backs we'd know about it."

Andrea and Calum shared a look, Ashton was keeping their secret and he was very good at it. Of course, this wasn't as big as hiding a wedding so Michael definitely had a point.

"I wasn't really being serious," Calum continued, "fuck, they don't even live together yet."

"They might as well," Andrea muttered, "the last time I saw Ashton and held a conversation with him in person was probably on your birthday. Like if he moves out, Duke can have the run of the house!"
