SERENITY

I wipe my cheeks as I'm watching tv in my room.

It's been two days since I got here and I got a flight out for tomorrow back home. I told my mom what happened and she says I should give him a chance but I don't feel like it.

He calls again and I decline, again.

He keeps messaging me, telling me to answer him and talk to him but I just ignore him.

I throw my phone on my bed and cuddle into the comfortable bed. I pull the blanket over my head as he calls again.

When it's almost sunset, there's a knock on my door. Confused, I stand up and open the door.

I roll my eyes "how did you find me?" I ask crossing my arms and he licks his bottom lip "you told me what hotel you were staying at" he says quietly and I nod a little "what do you want?"

He breathes out "just, come with me. Please?" He holds out his hand and I look at him before his hand.

I close the door and hear him sigh. I grab my purse and put my shoes on before grabbing my phone.

I open the door seeing him still there with his head down. He looks up "well?" I ask and he slowly grabs my hand. I look at our hands then at him and he pulls me along with him as the door shuts slowly.

When we get into the elevator, he tries to talk to me but I put my mask on and cross my arms. He sighs and puts his mask on too.

The elevator opens and we walk out "Uh, just over here" he mumbles and puts his hand on my back as he leads me to a car.

I'm not gonna lie, when he touches me....      

It's like my whole body lights on fire.

He opens the passenger door for me and I get in before he closes the door and goes around to the other side.

I turn my body to the window with my arms still crossed as he turns his car on and starts driving.

"Do you like the hotel?" He asks and I hum making him sigh "okay..." he clears his throat "where are we going?" I ask quietly and look down at my lap "it's a surprise" he says and I glare at him seeing him smiling.

I stare at him for a little while before looking down at my lap, biting the inside of my cheek.

"Are you hungry?" He asks and I take my mask off nodding "yeah" I mumble and then he pulls into a fast food place.

He orders my favourite and I smile a little but stop when I remember why I'm mad at him.

He pulls up to the first window and pays then the second window and gets our food.

He puts it in the back seat and out drinks in the cup holder as he drives away from the restaurant.

I open my window and about five minutes later, we get to a secluded place and he grabs the food while I grab the drinks.

He comes over and grabs my hand after I put one drink in the crook of my elbow.

Why am I holding his hand? I'm mad at him.

Still. I don't make an effort to let go.

We go up a hill and I groan. I hate hills. And stairs. And walking. Plus I'm still healing. Yeah. That'll be my excuse. 

He glances back at me and when we get to the top, I smile seeing a hot air balloon. I've always wanted to go on one.

Drew smiles at me and pulls me to the guy.

"Drew?" The guy asks and he nods "yup" the guy nods at us and opens it "you said you knew how to work these things"

Drew nods "yeah."

We go in and the guy closes the door "got everything you wanted. Bring it back in three hours"

He untied it from the ground then drew does something and it starts to leave the ground.

I lean over the edge slightly and look at the ground as we go in the sky. I smile looking at the sky as the sun begins to set.

Drew comes over to me and I turn my head to look up at him. He looks down at me before brushing my hair out of my face and behind my ear.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not telling you the truth. I was just scared you'd see me differently" he whispers with his hand on my cheek.

When I don't say anything he continues.

"I liked talking to you, like a normal person. I haven't been able to do that with anyone outside the cast since I got famous. It felt nice and I liked talking to you" I smile a little at him.

"I wouldn't have thought anything different of you if you did tell me. I would bug you about season 2 but that's it" he chuckles lightly and I put my hand on his chest.

"You brought on a hot air balloon" I smile at him and he smiles at me "pretty good for a first date huh?"

I raise an eyebrow "oh, this is a date now?" He smiles shaking his head "shut up" he says before kissing me.

I wrap my arms around his neck as I kiss him back. Feeling my heart pounding in my chest.

When we pull away, I giggle "weirdo" he laughs a little and I peck his lips before sitting down on the blankets.

He sits across from me and we start eating our food while talking about random things.

I hold onto his arms as he holds me from behind, we're still in the hot air balloon. I look down at the city and the lights. It's so beautiful.

I look back at the sky and drew kisses my cheek.

"Darling?" I hum and he turns me to him "what's your name?" I smile at him "Serenity" he smiles and kisses me "I like it. I like you" I laugh a little "I like me too" he rolls his eyes playfully and I bite my bottom lip.

"Our three hours are almost up. We should head back" I nod a little "okay" he goes to the thing while I turn back around and shiver as the wind picks up.

A second later I feel a blanket get wrapped around me and I smile softly at Drew who smiles at me and goes back to the handle.

I look out at the sky as he takes us back.

We walk into my hotel room, me holding his fingers as I pull him in. He closes the door and I take my shoes off not letting go of his fingers.

I put my purse down and he grabs my wrist before pulling me to him. I smile as he presses his lips on mine.

I'm like. A foot shorter than him. Tall ass giraffe.

I put my hand under his ear as he slowly kisses me. My stomach is doing so many flips.

When he pulls away, I smile and he kisses my forehead "let's go to sleep?" I nod and grab a shirt before going to the bathroom and changing.

When I get out. He's already in bed, not wearing a shirt. Damn. He's hot.

I pull the blanket up and get in bed, pulling the blanket around my body with my body facing him. He lays down properly and I move closer to him.

He opens his arms and I rest my head on his chest. His arms wrap around me and I put my arm around him while he plays with my hair.

I close my eyes and snuggle into him "do you want to meet my friends tomorrow?" He asks and I nod against his chest "mhmm"

"Go to sleep" I nod again and he kisses the top of my head.

Everything just feels... right.
