drew stands in the room after serenity ran out and closes his eyes with a clenched jaw "shit" he mumbles to himself before grabbing his phone and calling her.

Only for her to decline his call.

He throws his phone on the bed "fuck!"

Why did I say that? He thinks to himself as he paces around the room.

Serenity swallows the lump in her throat as she tries to control her shaky breath, declining another call from Drew.

Her shaky hands press on mads number and puts her phone to her ear as she hiccups from crying.

"S!"

"W-where are you?" She shakily asks and whimpers another cry "serenity. Are you okay? What's wrong?"

Serenity gulps "I- I'm in the stairwell" she sobs into the phone "I need you. Please. Don't tell Drew or anyone I'm here. I need you"

"Which one? S, which one. I'm coming" serenity licks her lips "umm. I went left when I left the room" she sniffles as hiccups again "don't tell Drew where I am. I don't- I don't want to see him"

"I'm coming. I won't tell him. Maddy is with me, okay?" She nods "o-okay"

"S!" She hears mads shout so she hangs up the phone.

Mads and Maddy come down and looks at the girl frowning.

They go in front of her "hey. Hey, it's okay. What happened?" Mads asks her friend.

"Me and drew..." she shakily breathes and Maddy rubs her arm "we- we got into a fight and he-" mads holds her shaky hands.

"What did he do?"

"He said something about my ex and I think I'm having a panic attack" mads frowns whole Maddy looks confused but comforts the girl she's gotten close to in the short time.

"It's okay. Just breathe with me." Mads breathes in and out while serenity tries to copy her.

She shakes her head "i- I can't"

"Who usually helps with your attacks?" Maddy asks "Drew. I don't want to see him" they nod "it's okay. We're here" Maddy says rubbing her back "okay? Breathe with us"

Serenity nods and copies their breathing. They do this till she's calmed down enough.

"Why would Drew say that?" Serenity shakes her head a little "I don't know. We were arguing and he started saying all this stuff about me being a spoiled bitch and- I don't even know. He said I was always in a mood when I haven't been and then he said I blamed everything on him. I don't know what he was talking about"

Maddy keeps rubbing her back "why would he say that? Does he even remember it's your birthday?"

"I don't know. He got mad at me for trying to wake him up then when he woke up we just started arguing. We never argue. We've only argue like, four times and it wasn't ever this bad" she wipes her cheeks with the sleeves of her sweater.

"Come on. Let's go to our room" Maddy says and serenity nods as they help her up.

Serenity hiccups again and wipes her cheeks as they all walk up the steps.

Once they get to Madelyns room, serenity sits against the headboard while mads grabs her a water bottle from the mini fridge and opens it before handing it to the girl.

She takes it and drinks some before handing it back to mads.

"What happened with your ex?" Maddy asks and mads motions for her to stop.
