DRA/SDRA2 (+Canon DR, Fangans, OCs) But No Despair

Prolouge: Trivia

Um so before we get into this shit, I wanna state a few facts first :)

(SPOILERS AHEAD!)

Alr so uh:

• As you can expect from a non-despair AU, nothing 'despairful' happened. There is no such thing as 'the most tragic, despair inducing incident in human history' or whatever it was called lol

• Canon DR characters are here too somehow lol

• Class 77 are 3rd years, divided into 2 classes, class 77 B for the SDR2 cast (excluding Hajime Hinata he's still a reverse course student here oof) and class 77 A for some other characters, including some of the DR3 cast, and when I say DR3, I mean't the anime lol.

• Class 78 are second years. Class 78 is divided into 2 classes, class 78 A for the DR1 cast, and class 78 B for.....ocs. I know it's kinda cringey but like- I wanna include some ocs either way. Besides, they'll play a minor part and won't show up much either.

• Class 79 are first years. Class 79 is divided into 3 classes, don't know if that actually works or not but this is fiction so whatever. Class 79 A for the DRA cast, class 79 B for the SDRA2 cast, and class 79 C for the DRV3 cast! DRV3 is here too wow! So.....idk tbh.

• Some of the DRA and SDRA2 cast's backstories are still the same either way, but a bit less intense ig???? Idk lol

• Yuki and Utsuro are somehow siblings in this AU lol

• Same for Akane and Sora. They're just adoptive siblings tho lol.

• Yuki, Utsuro, and Akane knew each other even before they went to Hope's Peak. It all started when Akane and Utsuro met when they were in middle school. Wow, they met in middle school, how different actually-

• Yuki then knew about Akane through Utsuro and then after meeting her, he platonically liked her ever since.

• Yuki would ask Akane to hang out with him and Utsuro at times, Akane just goes with him, while Utsuro tries his best to NOT be anti-social for once.

• The orphanage Akane used to be in wasn't really that abusive towards her. Her life there was pretty much normal. She met Sora there, and then they became best friends, aw <3

• Eventually Akane and Sora got adopted by the same parents, so they're now siblings! Aw! How cute ig! :)

• Kanade doesn't love Hibiki in THAT way, nor does she overly love Hibiki too much to the point she's overprotective and yandere and shit-- So the things she did never really happened.

• Kokoro isn't Mikako's mom in this AU.

• Mikako and Kokoro don't know each other at all until they met at Hope's Peak.

• OK OK THIS ONE'S A LITTLE WEIRD I THINK BUT LIKE- Hibiki and Yamato met each other on the internet and became online friends ever since! Yea, I know, kinda weird, BUT BARE WITH ME PLS

• After they told each other that they got scouted to attend Hope's Peak, they were so shocked and are just happy lol.

• C'mon, those two are my favorites from both games, bare with me pls

• Yamato and Tsurugi are just stupid silly best friends lol. Hibiki would third-wheel them sometimes ouch. It's even worse if she brings Kanade along. Big ouch.

• Uh anyways, their friendship started when Yamato challenged Tsurugi to a game of chess. Tsurugi for some reason accepts it and eventually lives to regret it. Yamato beat him in every single match omg wtf dude.

• Kanade and Kokichi, as in Kokichi Ouma, became friends in a span of two weeks. Just two weeks. That's all.

• Yamato is a stupid Love Live fan.

• Meanwhile Hibiki is a stupid Vocaloid fan, she just found out about Project Sekai, and now she can't stop thinking about Mizuki Akiyama. She just like me fr <3

• Oh, and Hibiki ships Mizuena. I'm not making the rules here my brain is.

Ok that's all I can think of for now, I'll probably update this when I can think of anything else.

Ok so:

• Hopecord is basically Discord in this AU lol

• Both Class 79 A and B are in a Hopecord server that Setsuka decided to create. They would occasionally go on there around 7:30 PM to attend Hopecord calls lol.

• I know this one is also as weird as the Yamato and Hibiki online friends thing, but like- Hope's Peak Academy also has a college/university, where the students who graduate from the school attend there if they want to.

• Yeah I know that one's super weird but THIS IS A GODDAMN AU GODDAMNIT-

• Class 78 are divided into THREE classes now, with class 78 A featuring the THH cast, class 78 B featuring random OCs that I decided to create for this AU at first but ended up making a whole fangan dedicated to them, and class 78 C featuring OCs from my actual first fangan ever Danganronpa: Meaningless Efforts <3

• I changed up class 78 bc the characters in class 78 B are in a fangan connected to the fangan the characters in class 78 C are in. Oof.
