Winter finally came, and so is winter break for the students of Hope's Peak! Once again, just like what they did in summer break, the students of class 79 A and B decided to stay at Hope's Peak Academy until it was Christmas Eve. They wanted to spend the winter break up until Christmas Eve together, y'know!
Recently, Akane had heard that there's gonna be a winter festival that's gonna be held in the town's park. She wanted to come with the whole class, but most of them seemed to have other plans.
So instead, she decided to go with Ayame to have a little double date with Sora, Yuki, and Yoruko! Yay! Double date except it's with a couple and a poly couple! Cool!
Akane and Ayame got to the place where the winter festival is being held slightly more earlier than Sora, Yuki, and Yoruko are. It was evening. Akane wanted them to be at the winter festival during the evening so that they can stay there until nighttime, and she heard from one of the freshmen of Hope's Peak that there could potentially be beautiful looking lights illuminating the place when it's nighttime, so Akane wanted to see if that's true or not.
"Hm, they're taking a bit long." Ayame spoke up. "Aha! Yeah, maybe they're on their way here?" Akane reassured. She didn't want things to go terribly wrong today, obviously. "....Well you're maybe right. Let's wait a little longer." Ayame replied, to which Akane nodded to the last sentence.

However...
"Ugh, seriously?! A traffic jam?!"
Meanwhile, with Sora, Yuki, and Yoruko, they're in a taxi right now, and it turns out they got into a traffic jam. Well fuck.
"Yes, I am sorry for the inconvenience, but there's no other way to get to the town park other than this way. It's too late for me to turn back to take a different route, anyway." The taxi driver sincerely apologized. Yoruko only sighed. "No, it's fine." She replied.
"Huff.....does that mean we'll have to keep Akane and Ayame waiting?" Yuki asked his girlfriends, not really caring about which one of them will answer his question. "I guess so. I guess I'll need to text Akane about this." Sora answered, pulling out her phone to text her sister about it.

Sora: Hey Akane
Sora: I think me, Yuki, and Yoruko are gonna be a bit late
Sora: We got into a traffic jam, and it's too late for us to turn back and take a different route

Sora then put her phone back into her purse, then looked out to the window. It's snowing. There's white all over the ground. Like any other winter.
"Well, to pass the time, why not I tell you about the time Teruya accidentally stubbed his toe on a table and cursed at said table?" Sora offered. "Eh?! That really happened?! Tell us!" Yuki exclaimed, seemingly interested in the story. "How the fuck did that even happened?" Yoruko asked, seemingly confused enough. Sora only giggled, and then proceeded to tell them the story.
How the fuck did that even happened anyway?!

Back at the town's park, Akane and Ayame are still waiting. "*Sigh* They're taking long, huh...?" Akane asked, though she's not really expecting an answer.
Suddenly, she felt her phone make a ding! sound. She turned it on to see what's up. Turns out it was a text notification from Sora.
She then read the text message. Afterwards, she frowned. Ayame took notice of this, and turned her head to face her girlfriend. "What's wrong?" The sprinter asked.
"Sora and the other two got stuck in a traffic jam, and it was too late for them to turn back and take another route to this place." Akane answered, still frowning.
Ayame sighed. This is gonna be a long day, huh?
