The day is now Thursday, August 11th. It is now lunchtime, so the students of class 79 decided to have some lunch.
Kanata, Kakeru, and Kinji all decided to have lunch together in the classroom. The weather was pretty cold outside somehow, probably because it's almost fall. Either that, or because it rained last night.
Apparently it rained again while class was still in session earlier, so the weather got colder. Kanata decided it would be best to stay inside, to which Kakeru and Kinji agreed to that idea, and now they're here.
"It's raining a lot lately, somehow, I.....I wonder why....." Kakeru spoke up. "Hmm, I am not too sure either, to be honest. Maybe it is just God's choice." Kinji said, being the religious person he is. "Haha, I see. Well the weather got colder than the previous days, so that's something." Kanata said.
"Hm, it got too cold tho--Achoo!" Kanata was about to finish her sentence until she suddenly sneezed. "A-ah-! K-Kanata...Are you....o-okay..?" Kakeru asked, obviously concerned. "*Sniffle* Y-yeah...I'm good, don't worry." Kanata answered. "Are you sure, though? Not only did you sneezed, but you sniffled too. Is your nose running right now?" Kinji asked.
"Um, not really....It feels rather stuffy though." Kanata replied nervously. Lately, she has been going from here to there because a few students somehow got sick. They got a fever somehow, and she wanted to help them heal. Even if she's not a doctor and instead a surgeon, she still has medical knowledge, so that's help her help the people around her to heal after getting sick or to heal after getting an injury.
Could their fever caught up to the surgeon...?
"No, there's no way." Kanata thought to herself. She doesn't wanna believe she's sick. A surgeon? Getting sick? Kanata getting sick? Unbelievable.
"Let me check your temperature to make sure if you have a fever or not." Kinji offered, to which Kanata only nodded to.
Kinji placed his hand on the surgeon's forehead, and it turns out it's pretty hot. Kanata caught a fever, for sure. "Inori...you caught a fever. You should just rest up. Me and Kakeru will take you back to your dorm." Kinji told her, to which she suddenly panicked.
"A-ah! Really?! There's no possible way! I swear I kept distant from the patients and--and--" Kanata cut herself off for a brief moment, before sighing in defeat. "I can't believe this...." She muttered under her breath.

A few days went by, it is now Sunday, August 14th. Kanata is in her dorm, laying on her bed with a blanket on her. She only sighed as she slowly got up to a sitting position, still on the bed.
She looked out to the window, seeing that it has rained. It rained pretty hard. She could only look at the raindrops falling from the sky sadly. She's sad that she can't be with her friends right now. She's still sick, and it's all because she isn't careful around the patients she was taking care of a few days ago.
Knock! Knock!
Suddenly, she heard a knock from the door. "Come in!" She shouted out, trying her best to be loud enough for whoever is in the other side of the door to hear.
Eventually, the door slowly opened, to reveal Kakeru Yamaguchi and Kinji Uehara. Kakeru seems to be holding a basket of fruits. Sweet.
"Ah, you two?" Kanata said, a bit surprised to see her friends here in her dorm. "Yes, we decided it would be best to pay you a visit." Kinji answered, a small smile crept up his lips. Kakeru gave Kanata a warm smile. "Y-yeah-! A-and we bought fruits-!" Kakeru stuttered out, putting the basket of fruits on the nightstand beside Kanata's bed.
"Ah! It's best if you guys stay a little farther from me. I don't want you guys to make the same mistake as I did....." Kanata warned. The two boys nodded, standing a little bit farther from Kanata's bed.
"I-it's best if you....um....e-eat those fruits. All of u-us back at class 79 A really....m-miss your company." Kakeru paused, but then Kinji continued his sentence. "You need to at least get better, so that we can see you and talk to you again." Kinji continued.
"....Oh...." Kanata only fell silent for a bit, before looking over to the lawyer and the priest with a grateful smile on her face. "Of course. I'll do my best to get well soon!" Kanata said, a bit more determined and happier than before.
Just as she said that, she noticed something. She turned over to the window. The rain stopped. Turns out it was nighttime. The stars can be seen in the night sky. They look pretty.
"Woah...." She muttered, amazed.
I'll heal soon, for their sake.
