Aiko Naomi.

A girl, who always loved matchmaking others—or maybe she can just call it, 'shipping others'.

A girl, who claimed herself to be the 'Ultimate Shipper', but in reality is just the Ultimate Matchmaker.

...

Hey.

Did you know that she's fond of music boxes too?

Well, she does have a music box of her own.

It was a gift from her mother. Her mother gave it to her on her 7th birthday.

Aiko promised her mother that she will always cherish that music box for eternity.

Even after her mother passes away, she will still keep it and cherish it for the rest of her life.

...

Today...

Today is the day that Aiko...

Would lose her mother forever and ever.

Soft sobs and sniffles can be heard inside of Aiko Naomi's room. She was on her bed, curled up into a ball, crying herself to sleep.

She had just received the news that her mother had passed away. She didn't take it as something light, however. She can only cry herself to sleep after receiving the horrific news of her mother's passing.

Her music box...about that.

She still has it, and she brought it with her to Hope's Peak when she moved into the dorms. She would often listen to the music that was in it when she was bored, feeling down, or just misses the warm touch of her mother.

Her mother...

She will never ever see her again.

However, she will attend her mother's funeral. As long as Aiko could see her mother one last time, she'll be at peace.

For now, all she could do is just simply cry herself to sleep. Nothing more.

A few days later, the school's hallways were as jam-packed full of students as ever.

The school day hasn't started yet, but the students decided to be outside of class while they wait for classes to start. Yamada Matsuzaki, the Ultimate Novelist, was one of the students who decided to wait for classes to start in the hallways.
