I've been planning this for awhile, along with a second Airi chapter lmao

But that second Airi chapter will happen after class 78 graduates in this story which will be sad bc i'm gonna write less abt the graduated characters :(

Miyuki hasn't seen Airi in forever. The only times she saw Airi are when she's in class, and then after that Airi is nowhere to be seen.

Miyuki felt worried, but nonetheless tried her best to not think about it too much.

It was the weekend. This is probably one of the last weekends she'll spend as a high schooler, since she'll be graduating soon. She decided to hang out with Rinka Aisaka, the now-almost Former Ultimate Influencer. Despite the fact that Rinka was very much angry at Miyuki for that incident, they worked things out and now they're on good terms.

Their hangout eventually had to end soon, since Rinka had business to attend. They walk through the streets of the town, talking about random stuff.

"Haha! That's weird as fuck!" Rinka said after a long laughing fit. "Aha! Yeah~! ☆" Miyuki laughed. They kept on walking and talking, laughing at whatever they think is funny about the thing they're talking about.

They kept on walking and talking, until Miyuki heard something.

"Oh god. Look. It's that ̶g̶u̶y̶ from middle school who thinks ̶h̶e'̶s a girl or something."

"Ugh, yeah. Just look at ̶h̶i̶m now. ̶H̶e changed a lot, didn't ̶h̶e?"

"Yeah, ̶h̶e looks stupid as fuck now."

"Yeah! Hahaha!"

"Shh! Look guys, ̶h̶e stopped walking with ̶h̶i̶s friend over there."

"Oh my god! H̶e'̶s with the famous Rin-Rin Ai?!"

"Yeah! Eww! Can't believe she wants so be friends with someone as weird as h̶i̶m!"

Laughs can be heard from the group of friends from a far. Miyuki stayed silent.

"That stupid M̶a̶f̶u̶̶y̶u."

She freezed right on the spot.

That name, it's as if she heard it from somewhere.

...

It was her dead name.

Rinka, hearing all of the things that the friend group said earlier, walked away from Miyuki and headed towards said friend group. She looked pretty furious.

"Hey! You guys!" The influencer yelled in anger, but it seems like the friend group didn't quite catch that. "Oh my god?! Rin-Rin Ai!!!" One of the girls shouted happily, not acknowledging the fact that Rinka is furiously angry right now.

"Rin-Rin Ai?! Talking to us?! Oh my goodness! I might faint!!!" Another one of the girls shouted. "Rin-Rin Ai!!! Can we take selfies together?! Can you sign my autograph!" Another girl from the friend group asked in excitement. "Hehe, Rin-Rin Ai!!" The last one of the girls screamed in joy.

"Ugh....Shut up!" Rinka yelled, grabbing the friend group's attention immediately. The influencer then proceeds to say what she wanted to say. "You fucking idiots. I don't accept fans who hate on trans people. Hell, I don't accept fans who hate on people in the LGBTQ+ community. So don't ever interact with me. Ever." Rinka explained, before walking away, leaving the girls dumbfounded and devastated.

"H-hey, Rin-Rin-chi, you didn't need to--" "Of course I needed to. They were hating on you, after all." Rinka cuts off. Miyuki only fell silent and looked at Rinka in awe.

Rinka was also silent. She can only stare at Miyuki straight(????? You sure m8?) in the eyes. They were like that for awhile, before Rinka decided to 'cough' to break the silence a̶n̶d ̶̶t̶h̶e ̶̶g̶̶a̶̶y ̶t̶e̶n̶s̶i̶o̶n.

"Ah, right. But either way, thank, Rin-Rin-chi..." Miyuki spoke up at last, looking away from Rinka shyly, a shade of red can be seen on her cheeks. "Eh, no big deal. Now c'mon, let's go." Rinka said, walking a bit farther from Miyuki. "H-hey-! Rin-Rin-Chi~!!!! Wait!!!!" Miyuki yelled, running after Rinka, who only smirked.

"Welp, we're finally at the dormitory. I guess it's time to part ways." Rinka said as the two girls walked towards the dormitory, stopping once they're finally there.

"Haha, yeah..." Miyuki responded, trailing off. A sad smile can be seen on the fashion designer's face, and once Rinka saw that, she had to speak up about it.

"Miyuki. I know how you feel. I may not be trans like you, but I know how it feels to get misgendered, mispronounced, and being called by your dead name. It sucks, doesn't it?" Rinka asked, stopping herself from talking for a bit to let Miyuki answer. She only got a single nod from her, so she continued.

"I know how you feel and all, but you can't just let yourself be put down by people who don't respect you! You gotta stick up for yourself, y'know?!" The influencer scolded. Miyuki squeezed her eyes shut, before opening them again and opening her mouth to say something.

"But....I don't think I can. Besides, I don't belong anyways." Miyuki said. "Oh that's fucking it! You DO belong, Miyuki! You DO! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT EVERYONE HERE AT HOPE'S PEAK ACCEPTS YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE?! YOU DO BELONG, MIYUKI! I KNOW YOU DO!" Rinka yelled, finally snapping at Miyuki.

Miyuki fell silent, tears welling up her eyes. Rinka thought that she hurt Miyuki's feelings, so she opened her mouth to apologize--

Only to be interrupted by a hug from Miyuki.

"RIN-RIN-CHIIIII!!!!!!" Miyuki screamed, finally breaking and crying. Rinka was shocked at this for a moment, before relaxing in Miyuki's embrace and returned the hug. Rinka could only give Miyuki a few pats on the back while she whispers comforting words into Miyuki's ear as Miyuki can only sob, sniffle, cry.

It was nighttime when Rinka was back from her 'business' (which is basically just family business, even Rinka doesn't know why they still need her in their family business'). Rinka walked through the hallways of the dormitory, silent.

"Ah, Rin-Rin!" A voice called, alerting Rinka to turn her attention to the source of the voice.

It was Hibiki Otonokoji, the Ultimate Vocalist. "Oh, hey Hibiki." Rinka said back, seemingly uninterested to talk to the vocalist. She had always thought of the vocalist as an annoying person. To be honest, she thinks of everyone like that, but despite that, she's still friends with some of them.

"Where were you, exactly? You looked like you just got back from somewhere." Hibiki asked, tilting her head to the side. "Oh. Family business." Rinka answered. It was a short, yet simple answer.

Hibiki only nodded. "Well, I'm hungry. Wanna come with me to the dining hall to get some food?" Rinka asked. It was still 9 PM, so surely the dining hall isn't closed for the day yet. "Sure! I was just heading out to the dining hall anyway, haha~" Hibiki answered.

And so, they walk to the dining hall together, talking about anything, really.

This turned out to be more Rinka centered than i thought it would be

But it's still about Miyuki, not Rinka, so it still counts as a Miyuki focus chapter lmfao
