Chapter 1: The Beginning Of It All

"You got scouted by Hope's Peak, too?!"

It was a sunny day. Yuki decided to hang out with Utsuro and Akane like always. They just told each other that they got scouted by Hope's Peak Academy, a prestigious school for talented people.

"Yeah! I got scouted as the Ultimate Maid, what about you both?" Akane said, then asked curiously, putting a finger on her chin. "Well, for some reason we both got scouted as Lucky Students, it's kind of weird, but I'll go with it I guess." Utsuro answered, shrugging a bit.

"Yet another thing that was accomplished just because of luck, I hate this." Utsuro then muttered, sounding a bit annoyed.

"Um, yeah! It's a bit weird, but I'll go along with it! As long as I can attend a prestigious school like Hope's Peak, I feel happy." Yuki said happily, sounding a bit proud of himself. "That's great to hear!" Akane exclaimed.

Today was the day. The day Yuki finally stepped foot into Hope's Peak Academy....

Oh, and Utsuro too, can't forget about him.

Standing infront of the gates, Yuki looked up at the gigantic building of Hope's Peak Academy. It's huge, like, huge.

"Woah..." Yuki muttered, a bit too amazed to the point where he didn't noticed his brother calling out to him. "Yuki." Utsuro called out again, this time slightly shouting at the other.

"A-ah?! Oh, yeah?" Yuki responded. "Let's just go in already." The other suggested. Yuki only nodded, and then they head into the Hope's Peak Academy.

After a call from the gym, the freshman students of Hope's Peak Academy made their way to said place. They all eventually made it there. There were some students who didn't wanna go, but they ended up going anyway after a bit of begging from their classmates.

The opening ceremony went smoothly. Well, of course it would be! It's not like a robot teddy bear would appear out of nowhere and tell the students to kill or anything! Pfft! Why would that happen?!

"And now, I welcome you all to Hope's Peak Academy." The headmaster said with a warm and welcoming smile on his face. Most of the students then cheered happily.

"Yay!"

Yuki turned out to be in a different class than Akane and Utsuro, so only the maid and one of the lucky students were the ones walking to their class without him.

They eventually made it to class. There was a sign near the entrance. Akane reads it. 'Class 79 A', it said. Akane slightly nodded in understanding then walked into the classroom with Utsuro.

Oh boy, a lot was happening.

First off, a chess match is happening between two boys, one who seems like a police officer, and the other one who seems to look like a.....sailor...? Akane doesn't really know, but he kind of looks like a sailor to her.

(Fun fact: That was my first thought about Yamato 😩🙏🏻)

Secondly, a girl who seems to be a clown was joking and poking around with a boy who looks to be a pilot, with another boy who looks like Dipsy from the kids television show Teletubbies watching them.

Third of all, 'amogus' and 'sus' are written on the blackboard. What the fuck is happening?!

Akane tries to process what's happening near the doorway of the classroom, while Utsuro already walked to his supposed seat near a window. Pfft- What is he? An anime protagonist?

While Akane was deep into her thoughts, someone walked towards her and tapped her shoulder. "Huh?! O-oh?" Akane jolted up, and then looked over to where that 'someone' is.

"Hey, you're not going to take a seat?" She asked. She looks like an athlete, or more precisely, a sprinter. "Oh! Right! I was going to, but after seeing what is going on right now, I can't help but have questions flooding my mind, haha..." The maid then laughed nervously, the sprinter laughed with her.

"Haha, I see. My name is Ayame Hatano, Ultimate Sprinter. Nice to meet you." The sprinter, Ayame, said with a warm smile. A smile that makes Akane feel warm on the inside too. "Ah, I'm Akane Taira, the Ultimate Maid, nice to meet you too!" Akane said happily.

Yuki made it to his classroom. He saw a sign near the entrance that said 'Class 79 B'. "Class 79 B, huh?" Yuki muttered to himself. He then shook his head then made his way into the classroom.

Not much was happening, other than the fact he noticed 'sussy baka' and 'ur mom' written on the blackboard. Who wrote that?

Yuki sighed as he made his way to his seat. As he got there and sat on it, he counted the number of students in the class right now. "...Fourteen (did i typed that right)." He finished. He remembered seeing online that this class is supposed to have fifteen students. So there's one missing.

Coincidentally, a student walked into the classroom. "Fifteen." He counted again. The student had long white hair that was tied into a low ponytail. She has an ahoge just like him, wow.

She sat on her seat, that was coincidentally enough next to his. "...Um, hi." Yuki nervously greeted. That greeting grabbed the girl's attention, making her look at him straight in the eyes. "Oh, hi." She responded. "U-um, my name is Yuki Maeda, I'm the Ultimate Lucky Student." He said. He then added another sentence. "It's nice to meet you." He then smiled.

"Hm, Yuki Maeda, huh? Well my name is Sora, Sora Taira, yeah. I'm the Ultimate Video Editor. Nice to meet you too." She said back with a smile.

(I couldn't think of any good talents for her and while i was thinking of a talent for her my mind kept on going to Mizuki Akiyama from Project Sekai who's the video editor for 25ji, Nightcord De and then I was like- Y'know what? Video editor it is, then.)

Taira?

"W-wait, you're related to Akane Taira?" Yuki asked. Sora is related to Akane? If yeah, then why did Akane never told him about her. Does Utsuro know about this? "Ah, yes, how do you know who my sister is?" Sora answered, slightly shocked.

Sister?! Holy shit!

"Well, I'm a friend of your sister. Your sister doesn't really tell me much about you so I don't know who you were, hehe..." Yuki said nervously.

"Hm, I see." Sora muttered, and then smiled. "Well it's great to meet a friend of my sister." Yuki smiled. "Haha, yeah, great to meet my friend's sister, too."
