Making sure my light blue button-down shirt is crisp, I dash out of my bedroom, my gaze lingering on the picture Josephine has put up on my wall of family photos.

It's a photo of the first time we went out together to the shooting range. We're both smiling wide in it and that day will always be memorable for me.

I make small talk with my mama for a few minutes before getting in my car and drive to Josephine's place.

Tonight we're going out to Lusso's for a joint pre-bachelorette and bachelor party for Luca and Izzy.

As the best man for my brother, I've been tasked with organizing something fun for the men. And...I still have to plan it.

I've been so wrapped up in all things Josephine that Luca's bachelor party took a step back.

But after tonight, I really need to plan something and not let my brother down.

Pulling up to Josephine's apartment complex, I'm about to kill the engine when she comes barreling towards me. To the driver's side, to be exact.

"Hi, honey." I rest my forearm on the window and take her in. She's wearing black, leather shorts and a top that reveals quite a bit of cleavage.

"Hi, sexy." She winks and raises to her tiptoes for a kiss, but she doesn't reach me. She pouts and settles back on her heels. "Can I drive?"

"My car?" I ask to make sure we're talking about the same thing.

She nods excitedly.

"I would've said yes, but you won't be able to reach the pedals."

She huffs and rounds the car, clumsily climbing in before I can help her. She puts her hands on the seat before jumping and putting her right knee in the seat.

"Did you pregame without me?" I chuckle.

She huffs and puffs as she settles and secures her seatbelt.

"No." She looks me dead in the eye for a beat before we both burst out laughing. "You had to make fun of me, didn't you?"

"Sorry." I plant a kiss on her knuckles. "I couldn't let this opportunity slide."

"Leonardo." The moment I step foot in the VIP room my family's in, Izzy inclines her head for me to step outside. "A word."

"Okaaay." With my eyebrows raised, I glance at Luca. He nods and covers his smile with a hand.

After a quick kiss to Josephine's lips, I follow my future sister-in-law.

"Look, I don't know what you have planned for Luca's bachelor party, but if I hear there were strippers or you went to any kind of strip club, I will use my limited edition Jimmy Choo's to stab holes all over your body so it won't float once I dump you in the ocean."

I've never been this terrified in my entire life, and considering my line of work, you could imagine just how scary Izzy is right now.

"Uhmm..."

"Yes?" She crosses her arms, waiting for me to answer.

"No, we won't go to a strip club." I say. I always found it weird when people went to one of those for their bachelor party. Claiming it's their last 'free night' before committing when in reality their last 'free night' was the night they started dating.

"And there won't be any strippers?"

"Correct, ma'am."

"Good." She claps her hands. "Mateo is making these not-so-subtle jokes about hiring a 'sexy nurse' but Luca and I don't want that."
