"You're so good playing the piano, Lillie!" You listened to Lillie's almost peaceful music. The way she pressed onto the keys and moved to the next set felt almost angelic, not helped with her long, flowing blonde hair and silklike white gown with her signature sun hat. Lillie had been your girlfriend since a few weeks after your move to Alola just one year ago and just recently, you've been spending more and more time with her ever since she got into a car accident at Kanto a week ago.
Lillie finished her peace, then turned around. She gave a smile and outstretched her arms to you. Immediately, you went over to hug her as she gripped onto you tightly. You were so concerned with Lillie's well being that you never wanted to leave her side for as long as you lived.
"Lillie... I love you... I always will, and always have..." You said to her, though she herself never responded, instead just stroking your back with her hand. It's always been like this, with you never wanting to leave her side for a minute.
You wished this moment of bliss would last forever...

"How... is he?" Wicke hesitated to even ask one of the scientists.
"Subject is completely pacified. So far, the experiment is working." One of the main scientists said to her. Wicke frowned, resisting any tears. "Isn't this exciting? This could be a major breakthrough in medical science! Just think, mental health problems could be settled in an instant!"
"... No. It almost feels... Like a substitute..." Wicke left the room to cry as the scientists continued to monitor UB-01 Symbiont holding the Alola League champion in an embrace, trying to ensure that it doesn't inject the subject with its venom.

Wicke went into her room and took off her glasses so she could cry without fogging them up.
Lillie had been like a daughter to her, so to hear that she got into a car accident... It had an effect on everyone in the Alola region, even its champion was devastated...
Which was why the champion had become the subject for an experiment with UB-01 Symbiont, otherwise known as Nihilego. After all, Lusamine groomed Lillie to look just like it, so it stands to reason that, mixed with Nihilego's toxins, that they could be tricked into thinking that, just for a little while, Lillie was fine.
Though, she asked herself... How long would this charade last for?
