You found yourself in a dark forest. You weren't sure where exactly you were and you were afraid that something will come out and eat you. You tried to reach for your phone, but you felt your body was unable to control itself and just kept walking.

"Hello! Anyone there?" You called out, hoping for an answer. There was none. You kept going through the forest, only to find a tree had fell over. Its wood rotted to the core as various insects the size of your thumb crawled all over it. A few noticed your presence.

"Ah! Oh shit! No!" You remembered watching a nature documentary with Kiara about deadly insects and how the bigger they are, the deadlier. And none were as deadly as the Japanese Giant Hornet, which you found plenty of.

"-ey, yo-" You heard something, but you weren't sure what it was. That's when two of the hornets spotted you and flew off into your direction.

"AH! GET AWAY! DON'T STING ME!" You shouted.

"No o-... ng yo-... Is so-... ng?" Again, you heard the noise. It was faint and oddly familiar, to the point where you felt calm despite two murder hornets on your ass. You closed your eyes...

And suddenly you were in a park full of vivid and lush flora. You breathed out in relief.

"I... I think I'm safe now." You said. You felt pressure on your entire body, as though it were weighed down, but you didn't mind it. You went over to sit on by the trunk of a healthy tree, resting your back against it.

"Th-... -od. I'm gl-... -re safe. I'll ma-... -ay safe." You were able to understand this voice more and more. It seems they wanted you to remain safe. That's when you huddled to yourself... How long can you be safe for?

"I don't know... I feel like the whole world is going to kill me. So... How can you help me?" You asked the voice.

"You do-... bout that. Everything is fine now and nothing will change." Those last words in particular stuck with you as you suddenly cried.

"No... Everything's going to change! I can't control anything!" You kept your voice from growing too loud as you could see the sky get darker and darker.

"It will be fine..."

"NO! IT WON'T! I'm scared! I'm going to be alone! I don't have any friends to hang out with anymore and I'm going to lose someone I love!" The trees and plants died around you as you could hear snarling. You looked ahead to find a large bat swooping overhead, its mouth drooling and its sharpened fangs glistening. You couldn't help but scream as the bat flew right towards you, all while you felt the earth shake beneath your feet...

"Hey, wake up." You heard the cheerful voice of Kiara as you felt your body shake. It took you well over a minute to realize you were having a nightmare. It took you another minute to realize that... you are safe. Kiara held you tightly as you started to cry. "You're okay... You're okay..." Even when Kiara was tired, even when Kiara sounded sad, she still gave that joyful tone of voice. It helped alleviate your pain for a bit.

"Wi-will I?" You couldn't even keep your own voice steady.

"Yes. Even when I'm gone, you'll be fine." You heard Kiara sniffle. "You still have everyone else and... I'll always be a call away."

"Even so... I... I'm going to miss you... I..." You remembered why exactly you were having these nightmares. The time when Kiara has to depart from Japan was fast approaching. What made it worse though was realizing the voice in your dreams was Kiara herself...

You just lowkey told her you love her. You blushed and were about to cry even more when Kiara gave you a kiss on the forehead.

"I'm... going to miss you too... But... We'll still be together... Don't worry." Kiara said. She continued to pat your head and talk to you until you drifted back to sleep. Back to that idyllic garden, though, this time, you saw Kiara sitting by the stump, inviting you over to sit with her.

You complied and the rest of your dream never turned into a nightmare.

[Author's Note: This is based off the fact that Kiara lamented not being able take advantage of Calli's sleep talking habit and converse with her. It also draws inspiration from that whole "Kiara is leaving Japan" thing that happened.

Fun fact: as I was writing this, I realized just how easily the "you" in this story could be Calli if I were to take the fic as is and restructure it to be both in third person (first possibly?) and to have a bit of her character in it. So, if you want to believe the Reader in this story is Calli, go right ahead.]
