Sylvie POV

"Oof!" I fell flat on my butt as I panted heavily. Training with Father for the entire day has been tiresome, but the fruit of my efforts were beginning to show.

My once large and destructives balls of mana were now more arrow-like, yet still very volatile. It may not be much progress, but it's progress nonetheless.

"Sylvie, take this." Agrona spoke from my side, holding out what appeared to be some sort of blue liquid.

"What's his?" I asked with a confused expression, unsure of the substance.

"Efelberry Juice. They're a specialty in the Central Dominion." He smiled warmly. "It's really refreshing, help yourself."

I took the glass from his hand before taking a sip. My eyes became starry upon feeling the smooth yet slightly acidic sensation swirl around my mouth and onto my tongue.

"This is delicious!" I gulped more of it down, drinking half the glass in one go.

"Looks like I've found another product fit for exporting to Dicathia." He smiled in a playful manner, to which I could only roll my eyes at his inner-businessman.

Feeling myself return to normal, I got back off the floor and drank the rest of the juice before the empty glass was taken away by a gentle maid.

As I was about to raise a question, a knock resounded from the large door at the entrance of the training room.

"Come in." Agrona spoke simply.

At his command, two figures stepped in, one slightly behind the other.

I recognized the first from the Parade. Long pearl-coloured hair ran down to her hip, void-black eyes and a set of long onyx horns protruding from her forehead. It was the Scythe, Seris Vritra.

"High Sovereign, excuse my interruption." She spoke calmly, yet with grace.

"Nonsense, Seris. What did you need?" Agrona's neutral tone shifted to that of a friendly neighbour once he saw who it was.

"I come bearing news. All listed educational facilities have accepted the proposals for the upcoming international tournament." She said, pulling out a document and handing it to Father.

After handing over the paperwork, she looked down at me warmly.

"It's nice to meet you Sylvie." She beamed. "Cadell told me you were a heartbreaker, but I don't think his words did you justice."

I felt myself perk up at her compliments. I thanked her, earning me a giggle from both the individuals present. Hearing the second person, I looked around the Scythe and laid my eyes upon the second girl.

Sparkling crimson eyes shone bright accentuating her gorgeous facial features, navy-blue hair flowing to just below her shoulders, and another set of horns, these ones coming out from a similar place as mine, but protruding upwards.

Seris noticed my gaze as she stepped back, introducing the girl.

"Sorry for the late introduction, this is Caera Denoir, my disciple." The young girl bowed at a forty-five degree angle.

"It is nice to meet you, Lady Sylvie. And an honour to make your acquaintance once more, High Sovereign."

"Nice to meetchu!" I greeted her happily, which seemed to break her formal demeanour a bit and make her warm up a little more.

"It's nice to see you again, Caera. Seris tells me your skills have vastly improved recently." Agrona complimented.

Caera seemed to blush slightly at his words as the Scythe giggled behind her hand like a mischief maker.
