Arthur Leywin POV

It is early morning, and the sun has yet to rise. I just finished getting myself dressed, making sure to not make up the two cute girls on the bed. Sylvie was sprawled out, and despite her small form, she somehow managed to occupy more of the bed then her mama.

Tessia on the other hand lid in a semi-foetal position, knees against her chest as she wrapped almost all her body in the covers. I smiled at the sight in front of me, resisting the urge to cuddle up to her in bed before turning the door knob and making my way out of the room.

Despite the time, I felt like I had slept like a baby, almost as if my need for sleep had reduced. Same thing for my hunger. I feel like I've been eating smaller portions recently...

One more thing to ask, I suppose...

I stepped out of the Estate and onto the pavement, calling over a nearby carriage. It stopped in front of me as the driver stood and opened the door for me.

"Where to, sir?" He asked pleasantly.

"Xyrus Academy, please." I directed, earning me a firm nod as he whipped the reins.

According to mom and dad, I've been summoned for a meeting before the Council, which will be occurring this afternoon. To say this wasn't a part of the plan wouldn't be a lie, the problem is, it's likely the most risky part.

I had no clue how they would rule upon me, and frankly, I wouldn't have taken this risk if it wasn't for having ties to Agrona.

The wheels of the carriage came to a slow stop as we arrived at our destination, the large set of guarded double gates standing tall before us.

Stepping out, I thanked the driver, handing him two silver coins before making my way up.

The two stationed guards looked, to put it lightly, miserable. I suppose working a shift this early on would make most people want to commit neck-rope. As I approached, one stepped forward, placing his hand out.

"Name?" He asked arrogantly.

"Arthur Leywin. Captain of the Disciplinary Committee." I handed him my school ID. He snatched it away from me, looking over it quickly, as if losing his patience before throwing it back.

"Welcome back, captain." He sighed, allowing me passage through the gates. I gave a brief nod before stepping in and heading towards one of the east side buildings.

Despite having an important meeting in the afternoon, and wanting to have an important chat with a certain horned fellow, I had much more pressing matters.

Entering the desired building, I made my way up a set of stairs before arriving at my destination. Leaning forward, I began to bang on the door.

"I know you're awake!" I shouted without stopping my hand.

After a few seconds, the door flung open as a surprised Gideon eyed me up and down.

"What is it, pleb? Are you finally going to grace me with some more revolutionary technology?!" He squealed excitedly. The funny part was, he was bang on the money.

"Indeed I am, so why don't we take a step inside and discuss this matter privately?" He nodded vigorously, slamming the door shut behind me and clearing me a seat.

"Make haste! What is it?" He rubbed his hands together, excited to listen to my proposal.

Laying back into the chair, I decided to clear a few things up first.

"Firstly, are you able to arrange a very small team to assemble this product, yet remain completely discreet?" I asked. His brows raised up in surprise before a devious grin came up.
