Chapter 28 - Field Trip Training

"Shower is all yours, Art." Tess spoke without making eye contact, patting her damp hair down with a towel, a second one wrapped around her slender body

I hummed in understanding before getting out of bed and grabbing some clothes, placing them on the bed, and a towel. Tess tried to innocently hide it, but I could see her staring inconspicuously from the corner of my eye at my bare body, biting her lip.

I chuckled to myself as I turned on the water artifact, cleaning myself off from all the sweat, saliva and love juice.

Finishing up, I dried myself off and wrapped it around my waist before returning to the bedroom. Tessia was already dressed, and was facing the mirror as she did her hair.

As I dressed myself, I noticed her doing the same thing.

"Tess, where are you looking?" She jumped in the seat as I addressed her, face flushing redder.

"W-What are you talking about?" She stuttered, hastening her movements as she combed her hair.

I finished dressing my bottoms before walking over to her, placing my hands on her shoulders, feeling her shiver slightly. Leaning down, I whispered in her ear.

"Just behave during the day, and I'll give you anything you want at night~." I spoke seductively, making her recoil once more before turning to face me with a set of puppy eyes.

"...Promise?" She placed her hand gently on my exposed upper body.

Cuteness overload!

I could only smile to resist the urge to repeat last night.

"I promise, my Princess." I laid a light kiss on her forehead, Tess' expression brightening in excitement.

We finished getting ready as we left our room, heading towards our first class of the day. I had a packed schedule, including morning classes, upperclassmen classes, meeting with the DC members and training with Agrona.

I could only sigh internally, thinking about how I would get through the entire day with a lack of sleep.

After I finished daydreaming, Tess and I split up as we headed to our respective classes.

Alright, let's get these out of the way...

"Ughhh..." I moaned as I laid my head on the dining table. My lack of sleep was unfortunately catching up. Sat with me were a few of the DC members, including Kathlyn, Doradrea, Feyfey and Kai.

"Cheer up, rival! I need you in peak condition for when we need to face off!" The upbeat elf slapped my back joyfully.

I grounded loudly as I picked myself up, finishing off my lunchtime meal.

"Arthur, what happened for you to end up like this?" Sat across from me, Kathlyn asked in a worried tone.

"..."

"..."

"I'd rather not say..." I could feel my face brighten a tinge.

"Spit it out, pretty boy!" Doradrea slammed the table. I looked at her in surprise before turning away.

"I must say, you have also piqued my curiosity. Could it have to do with the absence of your bond? Kai asked, his hands intertwined, his face attentive.

"Sorry... But that's between me and my family." I calmed myself down, not wanting to end up getting teased.

Everyone except Kathlyn groaned in annoyance as I wouldn't tell them what had happened, the Princess only nodding in understanding. Wanting to change the topic, I asked them another question.
