Arthur Leywin POV

The sound of metal clinking reverberated through the training room. Tessia and I were currently sparring as we waited for Gramps to arrive.

Once we had temporarily removed Tess' bruising from her neck, I asked the Director to show us to my private training room that had been prepared per our agreement. Honestly, calling it a mere training room would be insulting.

The lush grounds were as green as those in Elenoir, and the small pond in the centre was perfect for cooling yourself off.

As the metal clanged once more, Tessia's blade flew out of her hands, landing behind her.

"I'm happy to see how far you've come Tess." I gave her a smile as I extended my hand to help her up. "But I believe your reflexes and footwork could still use some improvement."

"Hard work pays off I suppose." She giggled, taking my hand. "But mark my words, I will catch up to you!"

Having broken into the Dark Yellow stage only recently, my strength was at an all time high. Tessia was also at a very reasonable solid orange stage, but the winner between the two of us was clear.

Feeling the sweat on my brow, I walked over to the pond in an effort to cool myself down. Tess did the same, taking some water and splashing her face with it, before getting back up.

Without warning, I felt a sudden push from behind me, causing me to fall face first into the water, entirely soaking me and my clothes.

I looked up with a deadpan look only to find Tessia laughing her socks off, hardly able to stand, Sylvie was also chuckling at my state.

Two can play at that game, missy!

Activating Static Void, I jumped out of the water and stood myself just behind Tess, her figure still hunched as she held her belly from laughter.

Getting myself into position, I deactivated the Beast Will and pushed my fiancé into the same body of water. Her figure submerging before her head came back up, wearing the same unimpressed look I had.

"If it isn't the consequence of your actions..." I laughed. "Come on, let me help."

I extended my hand to help her out of the water. A smile returned to her face, but instead of getting out, she pulled me back in.

Pulling my head back out of the water, we looked at each other with serious faces before bursting into laughter. A small water splashing fight ensued before getting out.

But there was one thing neither of us accounted for... Clothing transparency. Tess was wearing a simple yet comfortable white camisole, and due to the water, much of her skin and bra had become visible.

Noticing this, I quickly spun myself around so as to not look at her.

"Art? What's wrong?" She asked, unaware of the predicament.

"...look down..." I mumbled, keeping my back towards her.

A second of silence ensued before an embarrassed squeak. I could hear her begin to mumble on what she was going to do as she didn't have spare clothes, before I walked up to her, back still turned, and grabbed her hand.

She looked panicked and confused at my sudden action, but once I began infusing us both with a coating of fire mana, she calmed down.

"Quick thinking as always." She giggled. "But don't you dare turn around."

"Even despite last night.?" I giggled, earning me a punch in the arm.

"There's a time for being seductive, and it isn't whilst I'm drenched head to toe in water." She huffed. I simply rolled my eyes at the girl's indecisiveness.
