The babies snuggled into their parents and the new parents smiled, "Welcome home Peter and Harley Stark-Rogers, you are going to be loved so much", Tony muttered and the twins smiled in their sleep.

Now

It has been 5 years since the birth of the twins and the two boys were energetic to say the least, but the parents loved that no matter what.

All were going fine when early this morning Maria Hill from SHIELD came to talk about the scepter and where it was.

"Hydra has taken it to one of it's bases, Strucker is in charge of it and we think they are making weapons", she said at their meeting room.

All were on their own thoughts on what to do since HYDRA was something big, "So what has been Shield doing all this time?", Tony asked.

"Tony!", Steve said, "What Steve? I understand we need to do this, but remember we are not alone anymore", Tony said and Steve sighed and nodded.

"Huh?", Tony asked directing the question to Hill, "It's not easy to find a Hydra base", she said, "You could have asked me", Tony said and the others sighed.

Ever since having the twins Tony has been extra protective, he hasn't changed who he was, but he was extra protective of his family.

"We didn't want to disturb you Stark", "Stark-Rogers", "Stark-Rogers, but we really need your help, all six of yours", Hill said.

"Ms.Hill just give us all a minute", Steve said and she left the room, "Ok, first before all starts jumping in, I say we have to do this", Steve said.

Nat, Thor and Clint shrugged as it was ok with them, "You need the other guy?", Bruce asked and Steve looked at him apologetically.

"Sorry Bruce", he said and Bruce shook his head, "No no, it's ok I am getting better in controlling him, let's do this", Bruce said and the others smiled.

"Tones?", Steve asked, "I... I don't know Steve, where will we leave the boys? We can't leave them here, alone", Tony said.

"I know honey, but we can ask Ms.Potts and Happy to look after them, we can even ask Sam or Bucky or Rhodey to come over", Steve said and Tony thought about it.

"We have to do this baby, if it isn't for us, for our kids, they can't live with the scepter out there, who knows what Hydra will do with them", Steve said.

"Steve's right Tony", Bruce said, "I know and that's what scares me, if we fail then also we are-", before he could finish two preschoolers ran in.

"Daddy, papa!", they shouted and ran into their parents arms, who immediately smiled at the sight of their children and the parents scooped them in their arms.

"Boys what are you doing here?", Steve asked as he held Harley in his arms, "We woke up and saw everyone missing and asked Jarvis who said you all were here and I told Harley we should wait and play something but he wanted to come here so we came", Peter said in one breath and all smiled amused.

Peter and Harley just like their dad were smart, but Peter was developing a little extra and he was able to talk much faster and process things much advanced and faster too.

"He is just like a mini Tony with Steve's patience and Harley here is mini Steve with Tony's brains, not weird at all", Clint said and all chuckled.

"Uncle Clint, we are their children, of course we look like them", Harley said and Clint groaned, "Ok Steve, Tony I love you guys, but those genius kids are getting on my nerves, I am telling Hill we are in", Clint said and left.

"We love you to Uncle Clint", Tony, Peter and Harley said making everyone burst into laughter, Clint smiled as he closed the door behind him.

He loved his family, "Avengers get ready, get whatever you need, Harley, Peter, dada and I want to talk with you guys, come on", Steve said and the twins held their parents hands as they walked to their room and the others went to get ready.

"Are we in trouble?", Peter asked softly as they entered, "Oh no bubba, certainly not, it's just...", Steve trailed as he kneeled in front of Peter.

Tony sighed and kneeled, "Papa and I have some work to do, so we want you to stay with Happy", Tony said.

The twins nodded, "Superhero work?", Peter asked smiling brightly and the parents chuckled, "Yes baby, superhero work", Tony said.

"I'll call Happy", Tony said and kissed Steve before leaving the room, "Come on let's go to your play room", Steve said and scooped his boys in his arms and left.

Steve was playing with the boys in their play room when Tony walked in and smiled seeing his love with his kids.

He remained quiet looking at them and Harley looked up after some time and smiled, "Dada!", he said and Steve also saw Tony and smiled.

"Hey sweetie what are you guys doing?", Tony asked as he walked in and sat down cuddling into his husband's arms.

"Hey", Steve said softly kissing Tony's head, "Hi baby", Tony said and the two kissed, "Eww no kissing", Harley said, "Cute", Peter said at the same time.

For twins, they were quiet opposite and it always surprised the parents, in a good way, "We are playing cars", Peter said.

"Cool", Tony said, "How would you both like if Happy joined you guys? We have to leave", Tony said and the boys face fell.

"Hey, we will be back soon, sooner than you think", Steve said and the boys hugged their parents.

Tony and Steve was surprised for a minute before they hugged both the twins in a massive family hug.

"We love you", the twins said and the parents smiled, even though the twins were opposite in many characteristics, they were also connected in deeper level.

"We love you two too a lot", Steve and Tony said and kissed their kids and got ready for their mission.

The twins hugged the avengers as they all got ready to leave and the quinjet arrived, "Stay safe and be good to Happy", Tony said and all got into the plane.

The twins nodded and bid bye to their parents as the parents left to face their fears, literally...
