Tony and Nebula, the only survivors who went to Titan was returning back in the Guardians jet, but Tony knew they would run out of power before they reached Earth.

To distract his mind from Steve, Harley and especially Peter, he taught Nebula paper football and started playing with her.

He knew Steve was alive, he don't know how, maybe their love for each, which increased over the course of years, but he knew.

His wound was healing, but not quickly enough and the food and oxygen was running out and ever since the fight he had been sending messages to Steve, at least he had tried to.

Today also he sat in front of his helmet, "This thing on?", he asked tapping the helmet and it scanned Tony.

"Hey, Cap... Steve. If you find this recording, don't post it on social media. It's gonna be a real tear-jerker. I don't know if you're ever going to see these. I don't even know if you're... if you're still... Oh god, I hope so. Today is day 21, uh 22. You know, if it wasn't for the existential terror of staring into a void of space, I'd say I'm feeling better today. The infection's run its course, Thanks to the blue meanie back there. You'd love her. Very practical. Only a tiny bit sadistic. Some fuel cells were cracked during battle, but we figured out a way to reverse the ion charge to buy ourselves about 48 hours of time. But it's now dead in the water. We're 1000 light years from the nearest 7-11. Oxygen will run out tomorrow. And that'll be it. And baby, I ... I know I said no more surprises, but I was really hoping to pull off one last one. But it looks like... well you know what it looks like. Don't feel bad about this. I mean, if you grovel for a couple of weeks, and then move on with enormous guilt, please don't show this to Clint. Oh god! Is Clint there? is Nat... are our family ok? I should probably lie down. Please know that... when I drift off, I will think about you. Because it's always you. I love you...", Tony said and turned the helmet off.

He wiped his tears and lied down, Nebula who was noticing this made Tony sit on the seat and he opened his eyes as he saw bright light.

Steve who heard the sound of a message arriving looked at Tony's helmet, he immediately took it and heard Tony's voice.

He was glad Tony was alive, but the message shattered him, he had tears in his eyes as the recording finished.

Steve wanted to throw the helmet to the ground and crush it, but he couldn't, it was as if losing Tony all over again.

He sent Carol to look for Tony ever since the fight and this message made him agitated, he wanted to ask Thor, but Thor was in a bad place too.

He decided to shave the beard off his face and as he finished the compound rattled, he quickly rushed out with the others and it was a spacecraft.

The entry hatch opened and Tony and Nebula walked, Tony being supported by her and Steve exhaled and rushed to his husband and held him quickly.

"Oh god! You are alright", Steve said tears spilling from his eyes and Tony looked at him with guilt in his eyes.

"Couldn't stop him", he said and Steve kissed Tony's temple leading him towards the compound, "Neither could I", he said softly and Tony stopped walking.

"I lost the kid", Tony said tears dropping from his eyes and Steve looked into Tony's eyes, which said that he knew.

"Tony, we lost", he said as Tony moved into his arms more crying, "Is, uh...?", Tony struggled to ask about Harley, as he wasn't ready for the answer.

"Dad?", he heard a voice and turned to see Harley rushing towards him and hugging him, "It's okay", Tony said softly as Harley cried into his parents.

It was the first time ever since, he finding out Peter's d... disappearance that he came out of the room.

"Is he really...?", Harley asked and Tony looked down, "I am sorry sweetie", he said and it hit Harley harder.

He went still, "Harls?", Steve said approaching Harley who was backing up, "NO!", he shouted and ran inside.

Nat quickly hugged Tony and with a nod to Steve rushed behind Harley, "That is the first time he cried, ever since", Steve stopped unable to tell about Peter's death.

Tony looked at Steve, "I am sorry, I should have come with you to save Vision, so Peter would be here", Tony said and Steve shook his head.

"No it was my fault, I said we'll do anything together and I failed", Steve said, "But I am glad you are ok, I don't know what would I have done, if you...", Steve said and Tony smiled softly for the first time since they lost.

"I am alright", Tony said and their foreheads touched and Tony lost his balance, he was weak, "He needs medical attention", Bruce immediately said as Steve held Tony.

Steve scooped Tony in his arms, "Rhodey, call the others to the meeting room", he said and with Bruce he left to the meeting room , where Bruce injected Tony with saline.

 All gathered except for Harley, "It's been 23 days since Thanos came to Earth", Rhodey said, "World governments are in pieces. The parts that are still working are trying to take a census. And it looks like he did... he did exactly what he said he was gonna do. Thanos wiped out fifty percent, of all living creatures", Nat stated.

"Where is he now? Where", Tony asked from his chair, "We don't know. He just opened a portal and walked through", Steve said looking at Tony.

His Tony was never like this, weak, sad and mourning, he never should be, "What's wrong with him?", Tony asked looking at a sullen looking Thor.

"Oh, he's pissed. He thinks he failed. Which of course he did, but you know there's a lot of that's going around, ain't there?", said Rocket and Tony looked at him surprised.

"Honestly, until this exact second, I literally thought you were a Build-A-Bear", he said and no one smiled.

"Maybe I am", Rocket said, "We've been hunting Thanos for three weeks now. Deep Space scans, and satellites, and we got nothing. Tony, you fought him", Steve said hating himself for doing to Tony, but as a Captain he had to.

"Who told you that? [Surprised] I didn't fight him. No, he wiped my face with a planet while the Bleecker Street Magician gave away the store. That's what happened. There was no fight", Tony said.

"Okay", Steve immediately said not wanting to stress his husband, "He's unbeatable", Tony said, "Did he give you any clues, any coordinates, anything?", Carol asked.

"Pfft! I saw this coming a few years back. I had a vision. I didn't wanna believe it. Thought I was dreaming. I told you and Fury only. Where's that asshat? I told him we needed to think early, he said it was just Maximoff playing with my mind", Tony said getting up and walking towards Steve who stood straight to catch Tony.

Tony ripped his arc reactor and gave it to Steve, "Tony-", Steve started, "You find him, and you put that on. You hide", Tony said to everyone and knelt down.

"Tony!", Steve said immediately crouching down and Tony looked into Steve's eyes before losing his conscious in his husband's arms.
