They fought for each other and fought with each other but one thing was sure they did it together...

Now

As they were talking Strange suddenly portaled in, "For god's sake", Tony muttered as he didn't expect him.

"Why are you here?", Tony asked, "They are going to go back in a few minutes", Strange said and all looked at the two from the past.

If it had been two days earlier Tony would have wanted them gone in a minute, even the others would have wanted that.

But now, after they had patched up, especially Tony and Howard, they were a bit reluctant, but they knew they had to do it.

Tony and Steve looked at each other, this was their decision, Steve immediately knew Tony needed time so he quickly walked towards the ones who were going to leave.

He hugged Peggy and shook Howard's hands, "If Buck was here he would have wanted to say sorry to you, so on behalf of him I would like to say sorry", Steve said to Howard.

"Why?", he asked as all the others except Peggy understood, "Something I can't say", Steve said and others shook their hands too except Peter, Harley, and Sarah who hugged the two.

"They won't remember will they?", Tony asked Strange and he shook his head sympathetically and Tony took a deep shaky breath.

Steve slowly rubbed Tony's arms, "It's ok", he said softly and Tony nodded and walked to Peggy, "Bye Aunt Peggy", he said and she kissed his cheek with tears in her eyes and hugged him.

He next walked to his father, "Dad", he started and couldn't continue, so he immediately hugged his dad who comforted him.

"It's ok Tony, I will always be there with you", Howard said and they pulled away and within seconds the two vanished.

Tony gasped and Steve immediately pulled Tony into his arms, "He changed and now he is gone. I guess the consequence is really bad", Tony said and Steve kissed his head.

"I know and I am sorry", Steve said softly and the others left the two alone, Tony cried for some time before pulling away and wiping his tears.

"Promise me that you won't leave me", Tony said and Steve was taken aback but he nodded, "I promise that I will never leave you even if we die", Steve said and Tony smiled and the two kissed.

"WHY?", they heard and Tony groaned, "Today is definitely your death day birdbrain", Tony said and started running after Clint with his gauntlet on.

Peter cleared his throat, "Is... dad ok?", he asked Steve who was laughing, "He is back to himself as you can see", he said and Peter also laughed.

"Tony that's enough honey, let him be", Steve said, "No Steve, hereafter he shouldn't interrupt us", Tony said.

"I will, even in the afterlife I will interrupt you both constantly", Clint said and as he ran past Steve, the blonde quickly held Tony in his arms.

"Steve", Tony whined and Steve chuckled, "Ok that's enough, how about we do something else?", Steve asked.

"Just one blast?", Tony asked, "No", Steve said and the others joined them, "Game night", Peter said jumping up and the others agreed.

"Fine", Tony said, "But this is your last chance Katniss", he said to Clint and sat on the floor with others, next to Steve.

"Sure", Clint said and the others smiled and they started their games...

~ A Month Later ~

Everything was finally back to normal, or at least to what their normal was, and suddenly out of nowhere Strange dropped on the tower floor scaring Tony.
