Chapter 30: The Murder of Hana

I wake up, take a shower, and get dressed. Once I finish, I spot Dazai's beige coat folded neatly on the ground.

I sighed and grabbed it. I walked out the door.

~Time Skip~
I walked inside the agency.

"Uh... Anyone know where Dazai is?" I ask.

"He just left to go on a job with B/n, why?" Kunikida asked. He then noticed the coat in my hands.

"Well...."

I noticed it was only, me Kunikida and Kyouka in the agency.

"Just place his coat on his desk, I'm sure he'll find it." Kunikida sighs.

I set the coat on his desk and sat at my desk.

"Y/n."

I turn around and look at Kunikida.

"Today, everyone is out on a job. Including me. You and Kyouka do your work at the agency, got it?" He told me.

I nodded. "Got it... But... Where's F/n?" I ask.

"She's busy helping helping Yosano with shopping at the mall." Kunikida said while walking out the door.

Once he closed it, me and Kyouka look at each other.

"What should we do this time?" I ask, "Scary Movie?"

"Actually, I have a better idea." Kyouka says.

~B/n's Pov:~
"What the hell happened to your coat? It's been gone all day." I asked Dazai.

"Oh, um.. long story." Dazai said immediately.

I gave him a non convinced look and opened the door to the victim's uncle's house.

We noticed the lights were off.

Me and Dazai looked at each other and walked inside.

"He's probably not home..." I mumbled.

We heard a loud thud from upstairs.

We ran into Hana's room and spot Tsukio. He was standing right behind Hana's bed near the window.

"Mr. Amane?" I say in surprise, "What are you doing in Hana's house?"

"Um..."

I notice Dazai's eyes go wide.

What's up with him?

I started walking up to him,"I'm afraid we'll have to take you to the police station for trespassing-"

"B/N! STAY BACK!" Dazai shouted.

"Why would I-"

I look at Tsukio and see him pointing a gun at me.

"You heard him," Tsukio said, he looked like he completely lost his mind, "STAY BACK!"

"Put the gun down-"

"YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO AND NOT DO!" He shouted.

He grabbed what was beside him and threw it on the floor.

Hana's body?

"Have you completely lost your mind?!" I shouted.

"I HAVE MY REASONS!" He shouted.

{Flashback}

"Me and Hana would do everything together, go to the movies, go on dates.... We loved each other. And we both knew about each other's feelings. One day, she wanted to end everything, with me. I told her she was completely insane, but before I knew it, she attacked me and forced me to hang myself, I remember her pointing the exact same gun in my hands at me. Before I knew it, I blinked and I'm hanging her myself.... I couldn't handle the guilt, so I ran away. I hid in my house and became a drunk."
