Chapter 82: Set up

I yawned while staring at my desk. I hear someone roll over to me.

"Favorite-"

"Not in the mood."

Dazai sighed and poked my cheek. "You're awfully tired and grumpy."

"I had to work overtime last night. I'm busy."

"Busy spacing out?"

"Go work, Dazai."

"You aren't."

I started typing on my computer.

I hear him sigh and roll away.

"Y/n, Kyouka." Kunikida said.

I turned around and see him reading his book of ideals.

"I need you two to investigate something."

"Oh, sure." I say, "What is it?"

~Time Skip~
Me and Kyouka arrived at an abandoned store and walked inside.

"That's weird..." I mumbled, "Where's the police officers?"

Kyouka walks over to the back.

I suddenly felt someone put a cloth over my mouth. I was trying to break out of their grasp. I tried to yell Kyouka's name, but she couldn't hear me. I elbowed their stomach, but I blacked out.

~Kyouka's Pov:~
"Y/n, I don't think anyone's here-"

I noticed she wasn't in the store.

"Y/n?" I look around. I checked outside the store, "Where did you go?"

~Atsushi's Pov:~
I get a call from Kyouka.

"Atsushi, I can't find Y/n anywhere."

"What do you mean you can't find her?"

"I checked the back of the store. I come back and she's gone."

"Okay, I'll be there. Give me a few minutes." I hang up. "Kunikida, I'm going to help Kyouka with finding Y/n."

Dazai looked up at me, "I'm going with you."

~Time Skip~
Me and Dazai arrived at the abandoned store. We see Kyouka standing in front of the store.

"I checked everywhere in the store." Kyouka said, "She's not in there."

"I'll double check." Dazai walked inside the store.

"I was only gone for 5 minutes. I was looking in the back of the store for any police officers." Kyouka said as me and her followed Dazai into the store.

"That's because there was no case..." Dazai mumbled.

"Huh?" I spot him kneeling down looking at the floor.

"This was a set up." Dazai touched the ground, "This right here is chloroform. Whoever had it dropped some whenever they walked inside the store. Chloroform is usually for making people pass out."

"Wait... Someone took Y/n?"

"And if I'm correct..." He stood up and walked behind the building of the store.

We followed him. I saw car tracks.

"They put her in a vehicle and drove off."

"So, Y/n was kidnapped?"

"Yes. C'mon, we're following those tracks."

Where am I?

I noticed I was....in Mori's office?!
