Chapter 47: December

I type on my computer in the agency.

I yawn and look down.

Kunikida's not looking....

I put my head down and fall asleep.

"Y/n!" I hear Kunikida's voice.

I jump and wake up.
"No sleeping at work." Kunikida said.

I sighed and looked at my computer again.

Man.... I really want to fake being sick again...

I rub my eyes.

I look at the clock. It's noon.

Everyone gets up and goes to their lunch break.

I wasn't that hungry. I went to where the couches were and landed face first on there. I close my eyes and fell asleep.

~Atsushi's Pov:~
Me, Dazai, and Kyouka were at a table at the cafe.

"Where's Y/n?" Kyouka asks.

"I've noticed too." Dazai says.

"Should I go check in the agency?" I ask.

"No, I got this." Dazai sighs and walks away.

~No One's Pov:~
Dazai walked inside the agency and looked around.

"Y/n?" Dazai asked.

No response.

He sighed and looked around some more.

He spots Y/n sleeping on a couch.

"Y/n, hey, wake up." Dazai pokes Y/n's face.

"Let me sleep..." She mumbled.

"It's lunch break. You should eat."

"Not hungry.... I'm tired." She faced the other way from Dazai's face.

Dazai had his cup of coffee in his hand.

"Here's some coffee. It'll wake you up."

"Ew... No... You probably drank from that."

"Drink."

"No." Y/n turns to look at him.

He put the cup to her lips.

"Ew. No." She pushed it away and started falling asleep again.

He poured some coffee into her mouth.

"I'M UP!" She sits up. "You actually made me drink out of that?"

~Y/n's Pov:~
"Yes, how else was I gonna wake you up?" Dazai asked.

"Gross..." I wipe my mouth.

Dazai sighs and stands up."C'mon, everyone's in the cafe."

I follow him.

We make it to the cafe. I sit down beside Kyouka in front of Dazai and Atsushi.

"The sleepyhead finally woke up~" Dazai said.

"Whatever..." I say and see Lucy.

"Anything you would like today, Y/n?" Lucy asked.

"An Expresso, please." I said.

She nods and walks away.

I sigh and go on my phone.

I noticed a message from F/n.

F/n:

Y/n. Tell everyone to meet us in the meeting room.

I sigh and stand up.

~Time Skip~
Everyone walks in the meeting room and sits down.

"Okay," F/n says, "We all know it's December..."

I see where this is going.

"So, the agency will be doing a secret Santa!" F/n exclaims.

"Secret Santa?" Kenji asks. "What's that?"

"It's when everyone draws a name from a hat. Whatever name they get is who they have to give a gift to. Everyone will get someone from the agency. The fun part about it is no one knows who got their name." Ranpo explains to Kenji. "No one is allowed to say who they got. Everyone finds out on Christmas."

"Sounds fun!" Kenji exclaims.

"Okay, Atsushi." F/n shows him the hat. "Draw a name."

Atsushi puts his hand in a hat and grabs a piece of folded paper.

"Don't open it yet." F/n says. "We'll do that once everyone has a paper."

~Time Skip~
"Last, but not least, Y/n!" F/n exclaims, "Draw a name!"

I put my hand inside and grab the last piece of paper.

"Okay, everyone!" F/n says. "Go where no one can see and open the paper!"

We did as F/n said. I looked at my paper and opened it.

Kyouka.

Oh, that's easy! I'll give her something related to a rabbit!

"Okay, everyone!" F/n says while putting her paper in the trash. "We have till Christmas to have our gifts ready!"

"Have you ever done Secret Santa before, Y/n?" Atsushi looks at me.

"A few times." I say. Putting the paper into my pocket. "It's actually pretty fun whenever you figure out who got you!"

"Wow, I'm sure Ranpo is just going to give whoever we got a ton of snacks." Atsushi looks at Ranpo.

"Yeah!" I chuckle.

Okay, now I just have to have Kyouka's present ready by Christmas.

Suddenly, an idea popped into my head.
