Chapter 53: Christmas

I wake up and remember the date.

"CHRISTMAS!" I exclaim.

I run to Akiko's room.

"CHRISTMAS!" I say. "WAKE UP!"

She jumps out of her futon. "Okay, okay, I'm up!"

~Time Skip~
We make it to the agency.

We walk inside and see everyone talking to each other in their desks. Everyone had their gifts against the wall. I placed Kyouka's beside them. Akiko places hers beside mine.

"When will the party start?" Akiko asked.

Mr. Fukuzawa walks in. "Right now, actually."

~Time Skip~
Me and Naomi were talking while everyone else was too. We were eating all of the food on the table, listening to Christmas music. It was nice.

"Secret Santa reveal time!" F/n says. "Everyone grab their present!"

I grab Kyouka's present.

"Y/n will give her's first!" F/n says.

I walk to Kyouka and give her the present.

She opens it and gasps

"A music box?" She looks at me.

"One more thing!" I smile.

She sees the last thing I placed inside the bag.

"And rabbit stickers!" I say. "I heard you liked rabbits. The music box is from an antique store from America, the stickers I managed to buy online!"

She looks at me and smiles. "I love them!"

"I hope I get Y/n next year...." Ranpo says.

"Okay, Kenji's turn!"

~Time Skip~
"Okay, B/n's turn!"

B/n walks up to me and gives me a bag.

I open it. "A new pocket knife?!" I exclaim.

"Kunikida told me once that needed blood for that second ability, maybe you could put this knife to good use."

It was black with a red design that looked like it was meant to look like lightning.

Cool.

~Time Skip~
Ranpo had gotten Kenji, Kenji got Naomi, Naomi got Akiko, Akiko got B/n, B/n got me, I got Kyouka, Kyouka got F/n, F/n got Junichiro, Junichiro got Dazai, Dazai got Kunikida, Kunikida got Ranpo, Atsushi got Mr. Fukuzawa, Mr. Fukuzawa got Atsushi.

We all finished our secret Santa.

"Wow, that was fun!" Kenji said.

"Hey, Y/n." Dazai said.

I looked at him.

"Follow me."

He led me to the couches. We both sat down.

"What is it, Dazai?" I look at him.

"I didn't tell anyone about this, but..." He grabbed a box from his coat.

He gave it to me.

"Um, Merry Christmas, Y/n." He smiled.

I open it and see a bracelet. It had a few star keychains and constellation keychains.

"It looked like something you would wear, I wasn't sure-"

I hugged him, "Thank you so much, Dazai! I'm sorry I didn't get you anything!"

He smiled, "It's fine, I didn't really want anything this Christmas anyway! As long as you're here."

I felt my face go red. I pull away and smile.

Oh my gosh, he actually said that.

~Time Skip~
We were all talking in the agency everything seemed so nice. Kunikida was complained to Dazai on how he didn't want a book about suicide, F/n and Kyouka were looking at the music box I gave her, Naomi and Junichiro were walking to where the couches were, I don't even wanna know why........ I see Atsushi and Ranpo talking to each other. Akiko and B/n were also having a conversation. Wow, this is really nice.

I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my eye again.

I walk out and run to the bathrooms.

I look at my left eye.

Oh my Gosh.

It was red and looked like I was crying out blood from it.

I grab a paper towel and wipe it.

"What's happening...." I mumble in English.

"Y/n! Are you alright?" I hear Dazai knock on the door.

"Oh, me? Yeah I'm great!" I say, "Just feel a little nauseous about eating the food so fast! I'll be fine, enjoy the party!"

"Okay, don't take forever...." Dazai says.

What's happening with my eye? It's been months since I had the whole mutate incident. Why is it all of a sudden bleeding?

A drop of blood falls into the sink.

I grab water and wash my eye. I clean around it and look at me.

It looked like it was back to normal. No blood. No swollen eye. The pain was also gone.

I wipe my face with a paper towel and walk outside.

"You okay, Y/n?" F/n asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine! Stop worrying!" I smile and walk out of the agency.

"Where are you going?" F/n asks.

"Oh, just to clear my mind! I still feel a little nauseous!" I say and run out.

I was running down the streets of Yokohama.

I'm done waiting. I need an answer. I need an answer. How did this all happen in the first place? How am I the only one in the world that knows that this place is based off an anime? Why only me? And why am I...

I suddenly noticed something. Something I never noticed ever since this happened.

I run inside a store.

"Where's your bathrooms?!" I ask a cashier.

The cashier looks at me confused and points to a room.

I close the door and look at the mirror.

HOLY SHIT. I LOOK LIKE AN ANIME CHARACTER. WHY HAVEN'T I EVER NOTICED THIS.

F/N LOOKS LIKE ONE TOO. AND EVERYONE ELSE IN MY FAMILY OR PEOPLE I KNEW. WHY AM I NOTICING NOW?!

I run out of the store and continue running through Yokohama.

I need more answers. This all makes no sense.

"Y/n! Stop!" I hear a familiar voice say.

F/n.

"F/n I can't take this anymore!" I say. "I need answers!"

We were on the sidewalk.

"Answers for wha-"

Suddenly, I collapse on the floor.
