Chapter 77: Sibling Parting

I walk inside the agency and stare at my desk.

I typed on my computer.

I tried to ignore about what happened last night.

"It's sad you have to leave today, B/n." I hear Atsushi say.

"Sorry, Atsushi. But don't worry, I'll visit."

"Oh, Y/n's going with him to the airport, right?" F/n looked at me.

I knew she was just trying to keep my mind off of Dazai.

"Yeah.." I said.

"Well, see you later, B/n." F/n said.

"See ya."

Me and B/n walked out of the agency.

"Hey, how did the confession go?" He asked.

".....I don't wanna talk about it."

"Wait," He looked at me, "did he reject you?"

"Not quite..."

I explained to him what had happened.

"That asshole..." B/n mumbled.

I felt like I was about to throw up. I brush it off. I stared at the ground.

"Don't worry. I'm sure that bandage freak will come around sooner or later."

"Thanks.." I mumbled.

I noticed we were at the airport.

Me and B/n walk inside.

"Well..." He looked at me. "This is it."

I nodded, "Promise you'll visit?"

He nodded, "Promise. See you later, my annoying sister."

"See you too, lame brother." I waved.

I watched him walk away.

Well, there he goes.

I walked away from the airport.

This is officially the worst week ever.

~Time Skip~
I walk inside the agency.

"He made it to the airport?" F/n asked me.

I nodded and sat at my desk.

~Atsushi's Pov:~
I was doing my work until I looked at Dazai.

He immediately looked at his desk.

.....Did I just catch him staring at Y/n..?

F/n walked up to Y/n and started talking to her in English.

F/n walked away as she was writing on her checkboard.

"F/n." I said.

She looked at me.

"What were you and Y/n talking about?"

"That's between me and her." She said and walked inside Mr. Fukuzawa's office.

Wow... That's cold.

I see Y/n stand up from her chair. She walked out of the agency.

Where's she going?

I see Dazai stand up and follow her.

Where are they going?

~Y/n's Pov:~
I sit at a booth in the cafe.

"What'll it be today, Y/n?" Lucy asked.

"Oh...just give me a coffee, can you make it strong?"

"Sure." She walked away.

I stared at the table.

I see someone from the corner of my eye sit beside me.

Dazai..

"Your brother didn't even bother to tell me goodbye..." He sighed.

I was still staring at the table. I look and him and smile, "He probably forgot to."

He smiled back, he then had a curious expression on his face, "Oh and why did you walk inside your apartment last night without telling me goodnight? You looked like you were in a hurry.."

"Oh, yeah! I felt like I had to throw up. That's why I only waved." I explained.

"Oh, have you been okay these past few days?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Right now I'm just a little down because B/n's gone."

"Yeah.. usually whenever Kunikida is on a job, I'd just annoy him instead." He gently grabbed my right hand. "Oh, where did your ring and bracelet go?"

"Oh yeah, I was taking a shower and forgot to put them on because I was in such a rush."

"...You were at work 30 minutes early..."

"I accidentally had my phone time an hour ahead. So I got confused and thought I was late for work."

"I see.." Dazai let go of my hand.

"Here you go." Lucy gave me my coffee.

"Thank you, Lucy." I say.

I sipped my coffee. I noticed Dazai staring at me.

"What?" I ask, "Am I drinking it weird or something?"

"Oh no. Sorry." He looked at the table.

"Do you want to order anything? It's on me." I say.

"Oh no. It's fine, but thank you." 

I finished my coffee. "Well, I should get back to work."

I suddenly felt a horrible knot in my stomach. It felt like I needed to throw up.

"Y/n, are you okay?" Dazai asked me.

"Yeah, don't worry." I say, "Could you move out of the way so I could get through?"

He stood up.

I got out of the booth and walked away. I walked inside the bathroom and puked in the toilet.

Oh my god, is that blood?

I'm fine. I'm fine.

I felt light headed.

No.. I'm fine.

I flush the puke in the toilet.

I'll be okay.
