Chapter 49: Sledding

I followed Akiko. We were at the store. It was 9 days before Christmas.

"Why are we here?" I ask her.

"We're the ones getting the decorations for the Christmas party." She said.

"Wait, I thought we were making the pastries?" I say.

"No, that's F/n and Kunikida's job." Akiko looks at me.

"That makes more sense." I say.

"What about this?" Akiko shows me a red table cloth.

"It might need to match the holiday season more..." I say. "Like that."

I point to a different one.

"Perfect!" She says.

After we finish grabbing enough decorations, I see a gingerbread house kit.

"Can we pleaseeeee?" I ask.

"Well..."

"I'll pay for it! Please?" I say.

She sighs, "Sure."

"Yes!" I mumble and grab it.

We walk out of the store. It was snowing. I was in my (F/c) coat. Akiko was in hers.

"So.... We go back to the apartments?" I ask.

"Well, Naomi invited everyone to go sledding somewhere."

Sledding? Oh my God. I suck at that.

~Time Skip~
Me and Akiko made it to where there was a big hill, with what looked like a ski lodge at the end of the hill.

"This is the place, it recently opened." Akiko says.

"Wow...." I mumble.

We walk inside and see everyone in the lobby.

"Hey, guys!" F/n waves.

I take my beanie off.

"Wow. This place is nice." I say.

"Yup!" F/n says. "We already rented everyone's sleds. Today it's not so packed!"

~Time Skip~
Kenji got on his sled and looked at the bottom of the hill.

"Wow. This sure is high." Kenji says. He sleds down. "WOOO!"

I was next. Dazai was behind me. I get on the sled.

I stare at the bottom.

"You okay?" Dazai said.

"Yeah, it's just I'm afraid that-"

"Just kidding." Dazai says and pushes me.

"DAZAI! YOU ASSHOLE!" I yell as I slide down the hill. I felt I was going 60 mph.

I see Ranpo at the bottom of the hill talking to Akiko and B/n.

"RANPO! LOOK OUT!" I yell.

"Huh?" He turns to look at me.

~Atsushi's Pov:~
"I wonder how everyone else is doing out there!" I exclaim.

Kyouka was across from me. We were at a booth in the lobby. We had a perfect view of everyone sledding.

"Same." She says.

"It's nice for everyone to-"

I get cut off as I hear a loud thud on the glass window next to us.

I look to my left and see Ranpo's face hit it.

"Ranpo!" I say with worry.

His face slowly slides off the glass, making a squeaking sound, and he hits the ground.
