CHAPTER 15

How you can do no wrong

Amber:

I and Jack were doing amazing, we were now an official couple and we spent more than half our time together, although one thing that was odd was how quiet Lynx was, whenever we crossed paths she would smile at me and chit chat about unimportant stuff, as happy that I was that she wasn't bothered by our relationship, I felt something was wrong with her. Lynx may have been nice to me but to Jack, she had become as cold as an ice queen, she would blatantly ignore him and would say indirect insults towards him. This started to bother me and while she was still my best friend, she was getting on my nerves.

Lynx:

Funny how the only person I could be mad with was Jack, I mean how could Amber ever date my ex just after I broke up with him, she must have been manipulated to do so and I was not going to think otherwise, so I changed my attitude towards him. Did I know he was Amber's boyfriend?, yes but that doesn't mean I would be nice to him because my naive best friend would date his plain ass and I was not going to stand for it.

Amber:

I was so tired of her! I could not stand Lynx anymore, who could ever be mean to the love of my life! , he acts so nice towards her, yet she chooses to be a mean bitch and be cruel to him. I just had to confront her when we got a moment alone, when we were done with our classes I asked her to meet up at our usual spot in the near park and so I went ready to tell her off.

Lynx:

When I arrived home I was greeted by someone that I didn't expect, my father! he was wearing a suit and looked like a businessman, just like I told the school he was like, obviously, his wings were hidden and his hair was blond like mine and he was holding the door open for me, with a smile I went into the house and started talking with him.

Amber:

I had arrived 20 minutes ago and Lynx had yet to arrive, I was about to leave when a white Ferrari pulled up into the park, in the car was a blond man and Lynx, he had the same face as Lynx and them being in the same car meant that the man was Lynx's father. I could not deny that he was attractive and while the car was parked I walked towards the car to greet Lynx. When the car was parked the first person to step out was Lynx's dad, he walked over to me and introduced himself as Lucca, I gave a quick introduction and as he climbed back into the car he gave a wave to Lynx and left.

Lynx:

As we sat on the bench Amber suddenly got serious, I could tell she was mad but with the expression she had, it seemed we were about to break up, and honestly I was kinda scared.
