My FiFi

Twenty Nine

Asaba may have been futile effort but it did bring FiFi and I closer than ever and the experience was unimaginable perfect

We decided to enjoy the rest of our extended break by finishing our reservation at the hotel and the highlight of the whole experience was when the hotel decided to arrange a couples dinner for FiFi and i to compensate us for their poor services

The joke was on us really when they paired us as a couple and we couldn't say anything in our defense

I liked the idea so I didn't correct them
FiFi found it funny but I was praying it gets to that point someday

They arranged a table for two by the pool side with candles and wine and chicken with Jollof rice , it was beautiful not too much not too glaring but just perfect

I would do this everyday if that's what it takes to see FiFi smile as she's smiling now

We weren't expecting anything special we have learnt to accept the condition of the hotel as long as we were together the rest was just by the way

FiFi dressed up and we took a nice short video of the whole surprise and our live video actually hit a thousand view for the first time

As we settled down to dine I opened the wine and we cheered our little occasion

"Cheers" we grinned

"To Us making it Big"

"Cheers " we click our glasses

"Wow! Who would have thought that this people had a nice sense of humor"

"I honestly plan to bombard their profile with negative comments when we get back to Lagos"

"And now"

"All is forgiven , they bribed me well"

She chuckled
"You are not that cruel anyways, I know a few people who wouldn't look the other way despite being bribed like this"

"Oh yeah! People like who"

"It doesn't matter, this looks yummy" she picked her cutlery

"I hope it tastes just as good "

We dive into the food and it wasn't bad at all

"It quite chilly out here even better than the room" she started a conversation to break the awkward silence but I don't mind staying quiet watching FiFi eat is a captivating view

"Yeah it's nice "

"Have you ever done something like this for your girlfriend "

"Huh !" I almost choked on my food

"Have you ever taken your girl on a nice romantic dinner before "

That's an interesting question but I've never even had a girlfriend before

"No I haven't "

"Oh really, you look like the kind of guy that would sweep his girl off her feet"

I would
I would literally give you the moon and beyond
I will take you on a journey through unending fantasies and delights
I will build a a paradise just for the two of us
I will project you as royalty to the whole world
But it has to be with you FiFi

"I am .... quite romantic " I smirked

"I can tell"

"What about you as anyone ever done something romantic for me"

"Well if you can count a Ferris wheel ride as romantic then yeah , I thought it was really sweet and i had so much fun"
