The movie that made FiFi a star was titled Money Moves.
I remember the reaction I made when she came home one evening to tell me about getting a role in a big production

I was in her apartment working on a project, Yes I have been living in between two apartment since we had our little moment in port harcourt , we have been cohabiting

There's no tag to it but we have an understanding of what we have and that was good enough for me until this movie came out of nowhere

"Olly! You won't believe it" she screeched tossing her stuff on the floor and she knows I hate it when she messes the house

But she was too excited to give a damn

"Yes FiFi! What happened?"
I try to sound excited

"Just guess what"

"What! Tell me pls! I can't really think of anything "

"I got the role " she yipped joining her hands together

"What role" she rolled her eyes
"You didn't tell me you were auditioning for any role "

"That's the exciting part. I didn't audition, he just saw me and said 'She will be perfect for the role ' they called to the office asked a few questions and then that's it"

"That's what " am trying to follow but I really don't get

"Okay So this big time producer came to the academy today I think he is a friend of our coordinator while we were having a presentation today he came in when my team was presenting and I could tell he had his eyes on me"

"""""Eyes on you""""" I highlighted those words in my head.

Why does he have his eyes on you . I murmured to myself

"And then he said I will be perfect for a role In his next movie then he called me and asked a few questions "

"What kind of questions?"

"have I ever acted before? Who I have worked with? How long have been in film school? And when I told him I'll be graduating next month he said . Good, that I should get ready to graduate early and star in a blockbuster movie "

she took a deep breath

"This is it Olly! This is my breaking point. I can feel it"

"What kind of role were you given "

"The best, not a lead role but definitely something. I have about six to seven scenes "

"Do you know why he picked you for the role "

"He said my looks, my accent my body my attitude everything looks perfect "

I smiled. Of course it's the obvious

"So when do we start"

"Oh we have already started, my first shoot is in three days and am over the moon"

"Hmmm, are you sure this is legit"

"Of course it is"
I don't know but it sounds too good to be true

"I mean I don't know, it all sounds too good to be true "

"What do you mean"
I don't want to upset her so I just said

"Wow you finally did it, the hard work and efforts definitely paid off,Am happy for you FiFi , you've worked really hard "

"Thank you, now we need to fix my wardrobe. I mean do you know the kind of people starring in this movie big time nollywood actors . I don't want to be the girl that looks off"
