I still don't know who was on the other end of FiFi's phone, I panicked and hung up the moment I realized it wasn't FiFi

Where the hell is FiFi and why is someone else answering her calls.
It can't be Louie, that voice said just called out my name like a confirmation and I could tell the shock in the tone I couldn't quite figure it out but the voice was somehow registered in my brain

I just don't know who exactly it is
I went home and of course my mom assumed that I came home because of what we discussed before about me coming back to Port harcourt to work for her at the cosmetic shop

I had no strength in me to argue.
I let her do all the assumptions while I continue to think
A lot was going through my mind
I have no idea where FiFi is and I may have just blown everything in the air and created a big problem

I don't even know if it a good idea to continue to call FiFi.
Chidi hasn't called me and now am getting really worried.

The next morning I was on my way out when I got a call from Desiree asking me to meet her at one of our favorite spot in PH .

I told her I had something important to do and I'll get back to her later
She insisted and I had no Choice but to agree

She was already there when I arrived and she looked like she had a rough night and just throw on an oversized joggers and T-shirt

"Good morning " I moved to hug her and peek her cheeks

"Morning sweetie. How was your night "
She shook her head taking her seat

"Are you okay?" I asked

"No Olisa, am not okay "

"Why did something happen "

She swallowed hard

"It's funny how we only just came in from Lagos yesterday and the roof is literally on fire"

"What are you referring to "

"My mom and my dad had a big fight last night " she sighed

"Ohhhh!!!"

"And am afraid this time it is really bad. " her eyes were tearing and I reached out to hold her hand

"I have called Desmond and he is already on his way here from the airport "

"He is already here"

"Yeah he couldn't get a flight last night so he took the first flight this morning and he should be here any moment "

"This is serious "

"Yeah. I couldn't sleep all through the night "

I always feel guilty and concerned when I hear her name if only she can stir off trouble for a while but

The moment I heard her call me Olly I drifted back ,
