My FiFi

Twenty one

Gradually I was moving on the right track
I manage to get the endorsement in the bag and get FiFi ready to travel with us to Lagos

Now the endorsement plan didn't go easy
I had to use an old trick on my mom
It called the silent treatment and I haven't used it on her since I was Nine

She made me sign up for an Easter Retreat where I was stuck in a remote camp for three days with Strict Routine where we spent long hours reading the same thing over and over again. It was like a correction facility except it was driving me insane , there was nothing fun about the experience

When I got back home I didn't say a word to her for a whole week and my mom almost lost it , infact she had to take me to the hospital to be sure I haven't lost my tongue

So after our discussion on FiFi's endorsement
I just turned away from her.  It was pointless trying to convince her coz I know she won't agree and then she will start looking for a loophole where there is none

So I stopped speaking to her
I ignored her and said nothing to her for four days until she finally got the message

Even though she didn't assign the main role to FiFi she got two light skinned model one other model and FiFi , Sonia was the main face of the product while the other two can be the subordinates

Which was fine by me because I really need a paycheck for FiFi

I had to switch my first class ticket to Lagos to Economy so I could buy one for FiFi

Desmond didn't understand why I changed my seat although I convinced him it was because I was moving my car to Lagos and I will be spending a lot on that

But the truth is my bills have been heavy with FiFi , imagine all the stuffs we ordered through Amazon and FiFi just left them all behind at that thug's house, I wanted her to go back and get it but I didn't want to risk any reconciliation with that guy

So we are moving to Lagos to start afresh
We finally have eight thousand followers on Instagram and 3500 on Twitter, we are doing pretty great

And with our new brand endorsement, we are expecting an increment once the First batch hit the market and her face is all over the place so we should be fine so, plus am getting my first stay home salary this month

Now the real problem started with trying to manage being Desmond's buddy and being FiFi's guide.

On the plane it was easy to navigate the ride base on the fact that I was FiFi's seat partner and Desmond was riding first class but when we arrived at the Muritala Mohammed Airport and I had to ditch FiFi to ride to our new apartment with Desmond

I didn't want to leave her alone , have already arranged the hotel she's supposed to stay in for the meantime but I want to go with her
Am so sure she's going to let loose the moment I take my eyes off her

We got to the nice two bedroom flat in Osborne estate ikoyi. It had a really conducive apartment with enough space for us unlike our high school days where we shared a bunker now we can actually be out of each other's hair

"Okay maybe I was a little pissed at you for asking my mom for help but I think it's a good idea that she had to find and furnished the apartment herself "

"Yeah she's really good at that , am going to take a look at my room and put some final touches "

"Uhmm okay but I was thinking we could maybe rest now and hit the town later"

"Hit what! Not today am exhausting besides what's the rush we just got here "

"Yeah well am hungry . I hope you can cook coz if not we going to survive on fast food and junks "
