I boarded the plane but my thoughts
are elsewhere. Hindi ko makalimutan yung babaeng nakita ko kanina sa park.

She look exactly like the Sarah of my dreams. Pati style ng buhok. But when she cussed...whew! Cant say I blame her though...

Napapailing ako and I barely manage to wave at uncle Harry.

We'll be in Sorrento in thirty minutes sir. Please buckle up.

The small plane flew and I was lost in my thoughts.

Bakit ba parang ang bigat sa dibdib ko na umalis ng LA. This is isnt the first time Im leaving but it seems my heart already died. Tsssk.

Maybe Ill be ok once we land in Sorrento.

Sorrento is a large area in Sacramento, California. Its a place within the mountain. I was born there. Then uncle Harry brought me to LA when I was ten.

I can see it already even before we land. Parang walang nagbago. Ang daming log cabins sa side ng Sorrow Mountain. Umikot ang cessna plane for its descent. May isang maliit na airstrip sa gilid ng mountain at mula duon mag ji jeep papuntang Half Moon Grove.

Nagipon ako ng hangin sa dibdib. Theres no place like home. Pero yung dibdib ko parang hungkag. I felt somethings missing. Hindi ko ma pinpoint kung ano.

Jeremy!! Napalingon ako sa matinis na boses na tumawag sa pangalan ko.

Marnie?? Ikaw ba yan? Wow ang laki mo na! I hugged her and she hugged me back.

Magkaakbay kaming naglakad papunta sa jeep na dala nila. I high fived Aaron yung kuya ni Marnie.

We were classmates in primary school and these are my bestfriends.

Ahm. Jeremy Im sorry to inform you..but, your grandfather died this morning... Mahinang sabi ni Aaron.

I sighed. The old mans dead.

Oo. Siya nga ang nagsabi na salubungin ka namin. He will be here later. Susunduin siya ng cessna plane. Sagot nito sabay nguso sa papaalis na eroplano.

Olds is what I call my grandfather. He is on his eighties na. Malakas pa siya ng makausap ko sa phone two weeks ago.

He died in his sleep Jeremy. Sabi ni naman ni Marnie rubbing my arms.

Nginitian ko siya. Hindi kami naging close ni Olds kasi masyado siyang grumpy. Napakasunget. He never smiled his whole life. Parang mula ng mamatay ang asawa niya hindi na niya nakuhang ngumiti.

There was a story being passed to us when we were little about a great werewolf and his love. She is a sweet little girl. Full of sunshine and warmth. Madami ang nagkakagusto sa kanyang lalaki at marami ang naiingget na babae. But she isnt meant to be normal. She is so special because whe is destined to be the queen of the werewolves. Everyone was happy on their wedding even the girl was laughing but then on her wedding night she jumped off the mountain.

May malaking marker sa baba ng bangin na makikita when you look down from the highest peak of Sorrow Mountain. Dun daw nakita yung katawan ng babae. The king of wolves was so heartbroken and he blamed himself. Simula nun, hindi na siya nakita naging recluse. He locked himself inside the castle and never came out.

Malamang ga*o yung hari, kaya tumalon yung babae. Men are known for being jerks anyway.

Nag stopover sila ni Allyson sa isang diner sa Stockton, California. She was were driving her red cherokee jeep from LA para makapag unwind sa lugar nila Allyson.

Bessie hindi porket ass*ole yung ex- fiance mo eh ganun na lahat ng lalaki. Sabi naman nito.

Naikwento na ni Denise ang nangyari sa kaibigan at alam nito na padating si Patrick sa LA to woo her back. But shes done with him.

Look. Bakit tatalon yung babae to her death if the king was treating her right? And she did that on her wedding night. Baka nahuli nyang me kasiping na iba yung hari kaya nagpakamatay nalang siya bago pa siya mahawaan ng AIDS. Nanlalaking mata na sabi ng dalaga.

Napalakas ang tawa ni Allyson na dahilan para pagtinginan sila ng ilang tao sa diner.

Ga*a ka kasi. Bulong nito kay Denise. Nang makitang pinagtinginan sila ng mga tao.

Oh well.. Basta ako Ive had my quota of jerks and ass*oles so Im just going to enjoy by myself.
Shes so serious when she said this and Allyson know na galit ito pero hindi lang ipinahahalata.

Denise would never admit that shes hurt kahit patiwarikin mo pa ito. Napakataas ng pride ng kaibigan niya. She just hope she havent closed her heart to love yet.

Half Moon Grove is a very magical place and Allyson hopes Denise will find her happiness there.
