Epilogue

" Babe. Im coming over after the meeting.." Malambing na sabi ni Jeremy.

" ok. Nagpa deliver ako ng Chinese hope you like it." Sagot naman ni Denise. Ibinaba niya ang telepono at saka inayos ang bag.

Its been five years since they were married. Matapos ng mating ritual, nagpakasal sila sa Los Angeles. Bumalik si Jeremy at siyang nangasiwa ng kompanya ni Harry. Hindi na nakabalik si Harry mula sa Sorento dahil nag expand ang kanilang pack grounds.

The first two years were full of struggles. Dumating din ang panahon na naghiwalay sila dahil sa di pagkakaunawan.

She saw him kissing Cassie, his secretary. It was on their anniversary and she was planning a surprise. Hindi niya alam na siya pala ang ma-so surpresa.

She left Jeremy but he wooed her back. Nanligaw ulit ito. Araw araw ay nagpapadala ito ng bulaklak. He serenaded her made her feel so special. Even Derick, his wolf talked to her in her dreams. In the end she forgave him. Hindi rin naman kasi basta basta ang nararamdaman niya.

Jeremy showed her the CCTV footage showing his innocence. Si Cassie ang humalik dito at itinulak ito palayo ni Jeremy. But then she kissed him again when they heard her voice at the door.

" pasensiya ka na babe. Medyo traffic." Hinging paumanhin ni Jeremy ng dumating ito.

" its ok." Ito na ang nagdala ng take out bag papunta sa kotse. Sa condo na ni Jeremy sila nakatira. Matapos ng pagbabati nila, ibinenta niya ang kanyang townhouse.

Masaya silang pumasok sa condo ni Jeremy. They went to their bedroom to change her clothes.
" mag iinit muna ako ng food babe." Tumango si Jeremy at tumuloy sa banyo.

She placed the noodles in separate plates. Nagsindi siya ng kandila at inilagay iyon sa gitna ng mesa then she dimmed the lights.

" wow babe. This is so romantic." Sabi ni Jeremy. Marahan itong lumapit sa kanya at saka siya niyakap. " youre always so sweet."

" lets eat babe." Sagot niya at saka nag buhos ng white wine sa kopita. " lets toast." Anyaya niya dito.

" hmmm.. Its a celebration for what?" Nakangiting sabi ni Jeremy. His eyes are twinkling at nag pout si Denise.

" Im...pregnant Jeremy." Mahina niyang sabi. Alam niyang narinig ito ni Jeremy being a werewolf and all.

Tumayo ang lalaki at niyakap siya. " thank you. Ive been waiting for you to tell me..."

He kiss her lips, entwining his fingers on her hair. She followed his lead and they were both breathing hard after.

" you knew?" Nagtatakang tanong niya.

" yep. Wolf senses. Nagbago kasi ang scent mo. Dati its just you and a hint of me pero ngayon I smell me alot on you. " paliwanag naman nito.

" is that good?" Tanung niya.

" oo naman. Although I like your pure smell, I love this even better." Sagot ni Jeremy. " Yun nga lang since the baby will be half wolf, hindi mo siya dadalhin for nine months. At most four months lang. "

" ha? Umm.. Paano yan san ako manganganak?"

" well we can have your ob check up here for the first three months me doctor dito na member ng pack ni Alpha Rowan." Hinawi ni Jeremy ang buhok ng asawa. Hes so happy right now. He wanted to kiss hed senseless. But then her stomach growled. Natawa si Denise.

" gutom na ang anak mo.."

" lets eat then. I have plans to celebrate with you later. " sabi niya saka kumindat sa asawa.

The moon lighted their bedroom that night as Denise sleep deeply beside him. Tinitigan ni Jeremy ang asawa. He really thanked the moon goddess for giving Denise to him. Derick as a wolf is always there as a guide but he never interfered. Natuto siyang magtiwala dito. Eventhough Denise has Sarah's soul within her, he never felt threatened anymore. Siya at ang wolf niya ay iisa.

He took care of their business. Kahit na malayo sila sa Sorento, alam niya time will come when he will need to go back, but for now, he will stay where he is. He stopped ageing and so has Denise. Eversince he marked her, she gained some of his strenght.
She also stopped ageing.

They have the option of growing old if they wish it. Pero matagal pa iyon. Hes never felt so happy and fulfilled.

Nakatingala si Derick sa langit. Naruon siya sa veranda ng condo. He may look like a ghost but thats just how he is. Nagpasalamat siya sa dyosa ng buwan. Masaya siya na tinanggap siyang muli ni Sarah. Hinayaan siya ng dyosa na makapiling ang asawa ng isang gabi. Nang markahan ni Jeremy si Sarah ay tinanggap nito ang kanyang marka.

Nuon lang natahimik ang kalooban niya. Kahit na hindi pangalan niya ang sinasambit nito, magkasama pa rin sila at alam niya na napatawad na siya nito. Sa piling ni Jeremy masaya ang kanyang Sarah at nararapat lamang dito ang sayang hindi niya naibigay nuon.

This is his second chance. His last dance with his mate.

Tila naman mas lalong lumiwanag ang buwan sa kanyang paningin. Napapikit siya.
Iginawad sa kanya ng dyosa ang kapatawaran at unti unting naging usok si Derick. He flowed with the wind and went straight into Jeremy's soul.

Denise smiled contentedly in her sleep. Ito na ang buhay niya ngayon and she couldnt be more happy. She has Jeremy by her side and soon they will have their own family.
