Wednesday - Chris' POV

Wednesday morning felt strangely good for some reason. The way the sun was shining through the curtains casting an orange glow to Chris' bedroom showed that it was a beautiful spring day outside. Despite having the sun's rays shine directly into his eyes, Chris woke up already feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. Even though yesterday's party was a complete bust, he still felt optimistic about today. He rolled over onto his back and stared up at the ceiling, running a hand through his hair before deciding that it was time for a shower due to how greasy his hair felt. Chris sat up, tossed his covers off his body, and rolled off of the bed to stand on the carpet while he stretched his limbs to fully wake up.

Chris glanced down at the phone on his nightstand and picked it up to check the time; 7:20am. He didn't know what it was, but he had been waking up before his alarm a lot recently. Maybe his body was finally getting used to being up these times which Chris interpreted as him being a health growing boy. He unlocked his phone and turned off the alarm before tossing the device onto the bed and stepping into the bathroom that was connected to his bedroom.

The room quickly filled up with steam as the nozzle rained its hot water down onto the shower floor. Chris stripped out of his boxers and sat them in the basket for his washing next to the towel that rested on the counter. He then stepped into the shower and let out a sigh of relief at the feeling of the warm water on his body, closing his eyes when facing the showerhead as the water rained down on him like that one Lady Gaga song. He stood there for a moment to let his hair and body get completely soaked before he started to wash himself while he thought about anything that popped into his mind. He started with arguments that happened years ago that he now created the perfect comebacks to until he remembered the date he planned to ask David on. It wasn't often that Chris went on dates. To be honest, he's never been on a date before due to lacking a boyfriend. The mere thought of one was exciting, but as he toyed with the idea of going on a date with David, his expression slightly soured when thoughts of last night flooded his mind.

After about 10 minutes Chris emerged from the bathroom, vigorously drying off his hair with the towel as he sauntered over to his chest of drawers where he dove into his underwear drawer to fish for the pair he would wear that day. Chris wasn't the most eye-catching person when it came to his clothes as he was more than happy to stoat about in a hoodie and joggers and call it a day. However, when it came to his underwear and socks, you could consider him a fashion icon. Not a day went by where Chris wasn't wearing funky socks or underwear that had some type of cool pattern on them. He viewed this as the one way he could properly express himself without many people noticing. Then again, he would be utterly offended if no one noticed how cool his socks were.

Today's candidate's for socks were a teal blue with Gary the snail from SpongeBob plastered all over them. These were honestly his favourite pair. Considering his underwear, he tossed on these bright pink briefs with cacti all over them. With the tough decision of his undergarments decided, Chris got dressed in his school uniform. The uniform was pretty dull and consisted of grey trousers, a white shirt, and a grey sleeveless jumper that had a dark green lining. It reminded him of sickness.

Chris bounced down the stairs and into the kitchen to grab himself some quick breakfast before he left for school, checking the time on his phone again which read at 7:45 am. School started at 8:30 am so he had plenty of time to spare before he had to leave and drive to school. For his breakfast, Chris settled on a banana and some yoghurt to satiate his appetite while he played some music from his phone to get him energised and ready for the day. Think of it as a morning ritual. Chris was always playing music when he woke up or when he was stressed and it always seemed to help calm him down. Song choice of the day? Sound of the Underground by Girls Aloud. Before Chris left after eating his breakfast, he double checked his school bag to ensure that all his belongings were inside and he wasn't missing anything. It wasn't often that Chris lost or forgot something, but it wasn't like he didn't trust himself, he can just be a bit of a dumbass sometimes.
