Wednesday - Chris' POV

"These houses look so fucking American." Chris gawked at the almost mansions as he entered Courtney's neighbourhood. Don't get him wrong though, the area looked absolutely lovely. He's always had a soft spot for the suburban looking areas with rows and rows of fancy houses that had rows and rows of trees along the pavement. It all just looked stereotypical though.

"Is that a bad thing?" Craig leaned in through the space between the front seats to engage in the conversation before David shoved his head back so Chris could see behind them.

"Maybe, don't know yet."

"There it is! Park down the street and we'll walk up." Chris followed David's instructions and continued driving down the street until they were a good distance away from Courtney's house. If they were going to break into someone's house, they couldn't look suspicious.

Chris parked the car and locked it once everyone emptied out of the vehicle. The trio started their journey down the pavement, acting like any ordinary person that lived here would as Chris took in the scenery around them. The houses looked so big in a depressing way. Sure, they looked great and were aesthetically pleasing, but what's the point of having a giant house if only a few people live in it? It's something he found strange. Give him a small cabin in a secluded area and he'd be happy.

"So, Craig. How's everything with Damien?" Craig playfully nudged Craig in the arm as a red hue formed over his face.

"Uhm... alright I guess."

"Hold up. Are you and Morales boning each other?"

"It's not like that! We talked for a while at the party and decided to get coffee sometime."

"Uh huh... yeah. Is that before or after you blew him?"

"Fuck off, dude! We didn't do anything."

"That's not what I was told." Craig spun around to glare at Chris as a grin pulled at the sides of the Scot's mouth.

"Can we stop talking about this? We're here to get some revenge, not talk about my love life."

"So you're in love?"

"Shut the fuck up Dave!" Craig's pace quickened as he speedwalked away from the boys because of their teasing.

Courtney's house was pretty big. Nowhere near the size of Chelsea's, but it was impressive. What did he expect from the rich neighbourhoods? It was a bit of a culture shock to the poor Scotsman. The trio rounded the corner and walked up the path that led around the back of the house. Just when he thought he had seen it all, they were met with Courtney's giant pool in the middle of her backgarden.

"Fuck sake. What do you people do for a living?"

"Her dad owns a lot of fast food chains around the state. You'd never assume he did though, he's pretty built."

"Have you been checking out Mr Adams?" David grinned at the annoyed expression that formed on Craig's face as he kneeled down by the frog statue. He picked it up and took the key that was taped to the bottom of the frog before placing it back down.

"I'll push you into the pool." Craig shoved David into the door as he tried to unlock it. He immediately retaliated to give Craig a jab in the shoulder before Chris interjected to stop a fight breaking out.

"Jesus christ, give me the key." Chris took the key from David and pushed past the two so he could put it in the lock and unlock the backdoor. "Stop acting like children, we're meant to blend in."

The trio waltzed into the Adams home as Chris marvelled at the décor, once again bringing up those pleasing aesthetics. Although they were here to commit the art of theft, Chris couldn't help but appreciate the design of the house. This didn't go unnoticed by Craig as he curiously looked at his best friend's lover.
